𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖕𝖙𝖊𝖗 𝕺𝖓𝖊: 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝖇𝖊𝖌𝖎𝖓𝖓𝖎𝖓𝖌

"Amity, what's wrong? You look like a mess." Thea placed her hand on her friend's shoulder, walking alongside her and the rest of their friend group. After a long and tiresome day school had finally finished and now the group of four were making their way back home. 

Amity turned to her friend, her light glare slowly fading from her face. She smoothed out her messy hair and sighed, "Oh, nothing really, but Half-A-Witch Willow ruined my day. She brought a literal human girl into school, An-" Before Amity could even finish her current sentence Boscha piped up, an evident grin on her face. 

"Oh my Titan! I totally heard about that; I can't believe that Half-A-Witch was so desperate to get a passing grade that she brought a human into school! What a loser." Boscha let out a chuckle. Thea couldn't understand what made Boscha hate Willow so much, she didn't think Willow and Boscha had ever interacted in the past. 

The sun shone brightly above the group; the sweltering heat made Thea feel dehydrated. Luckily her house was the closest to the school. Skara looked towards Amity, clutching her books close to her chest. "Is that what the lockdown was about? And what about Lunch? Everyone was talking about how you attacked that Abomination..." 

Amity shot a look at Skara, her face showing how exasperated she felt. "That was the human! I can't believe that not even Professor Hermonculus saw through Half-A-Witches lies!" Amity's face slowly started to turn a bright red, this usually meant that she was angry, either that or she was incredibly flustered.

Thea, Boscha and Skara all laughed at Amity's facial expression, which only aided in making her face redder. Thea turned away from her group, suddenly spotting the large manor on top of the hill. 

"Oh, this is my stop. See you guys tomorrow!" The group departed, all waving at Thea. They waited until she disappeared into the trees before starting their trek home.

Theadosia began running up the hill, following the path up to her grandparents' home until she soon saw the large white gate embellished with a golden 'V'.

When she came in view of the Abominations guarding the manor swiftly pushed open the gate. A loud creek echoing throughout the forest. 

Before Thea could even make it to the front door a red blur flew past her, slightly knocking her back. She stumbled for a second before regaining her balance. 

The blur soon slowed down and turned around, facing the now angered teen. 

"Ah, Sorry Thea! I'm practicing for Flyer derby tryouts!" A small child with a soft round face and large russet eyes. They flew back over towards the girl, jumping off of their older brothers palisman. This young child was Thea's little sibling, Jett Valentine. Even though Theadosia went to Hexside their grandfather decided to place Jett in St. Epiderm. 

"With Kingsley's palisman?" Thea inquired, snatching the staff out of Jett's grip. They jumped up and down, attempting to grab the staff back.

"Does he even know you have it?" A light, playful gasp erupted from her mouth before a playful grin was etched upon her face. "What if I just went and told him?"

Jett's eyes had widened and they stopped in their tracks, only to continue their frantic attempt to take the staff back. 

The two siblings laughed as Thea placed her free hand on top of Jett's head, pushing them away from the staff. "Nuh uh, there is no way you're getting this back!" she removed her hand from her sibling's head, ruffling their hair. She then tightly pressed it close to her chest, and turned slightly away from Jett. 

"I might hold on to this for now."

"What? Oh, please don't! I need to practice for-"

"Flyer derby? You're not even eligible to join, and by the time you're old enough you'll be transferred to Hexside! We don't even have Flyer derby..."

Jett stood still for a moment, stuck in thought for a moment. Their eyes suddenly lit up and they looked back up at their elder sister.

"Then I'll make a Flyer derby team! And... And we'll travel all across the isles!" 

Thea paused, lowering the staff back down into a relaxed position. She let out a chuckle before tossing the staff back into Jett's large hands. 

"If you think you'll become good enough to be able to create a Flyer derby team AND tour across the isles, then I guess you can practice with Kingsley's Palisman." Thea then placed her index finger on top of her lips, "And I guess I'll keep it a secret. For now, at least..." 

Jett's red eyes gleamed up at Thea before giving her a quick hug. 

"Thanks, Dossie! I'll see you later, okay?" 

"Alright, bye Jettsie. See ya" She waved at her little sibling before turning around and opening the large Cream-coloured doors.

Into Valentine manor...

AHHHHHHHH FIRST CHAPTER GUYSSSSS!! Btw for the people who are confused at the end when Jett calls Thea 'Dossie' that's because it's a nickname!!

Sorry that this chapter is short but I'm tired and wanted to post the first chapter before 12:00am.
