Waking up lately, has become a chore for you. You sit up and rub your eyes with a heavy feeling in your head. Not a headache, but a heavy weight carrying your thoughts and emotions that makes it too difficult to wake up.

Maybe I should just tell Fong I'm sick so I don't have to go.

Maybe you'll get lucky and Fong just won't want you to come along. Fong decided to redo the mission during the day so as not hopefully receive any unwanted company. Ugh. Too early.

You lazily rolled out of bed and got dressed in dark leggings and a (F/C) T-shirt. You separated your hair into two sections and put it up in low pigtails. You slipped on some shoes and exited your room.

You walked out to fond the three of them headed out the door. "Where are you guys going?"

Fong noticed you. "You were sleeping. We are going to get what we need now. Just stay behind." He said sharply. They left without giving you a chance to respond. The door shut rather suddenly which made you wince. Yeah. Fong definitely just wanted to get done with getting what they were hired to do. You felt a little cold just standing there so you decided it would probably do you some good to take a long walk to warm you up. It was the beginning of Autumn so it was still in the warmer side but you grabbed a light jacket just in case.

You floundered around for a while. Not really going anywhere but that wasn't really important. You just needed to get out. For the past few years you've felt disconnected from everyone and everything around you. You didn't know how to make this deep feeling go away. You had become very...blah. Yeah that's the word to describe it. Blah. Life was just life. And it wasn't really any fun.

It was starting to get dark when you noticed you were about a 30 minute walk away from the factory. You sighed and began changing your course to head back when you heard a female's voice give out a long cry almost like a battle cry. It startled you. You turned your head up towards the roof of a nearby building. You listened more carefully and heard the clanging of metal and grunts. You got curious and went into the alleyway and climbed up the fire escape of the building. As you got higher and higher, you could hear the sounds getting louder and louder. When you reached the last couple of steps you stopped to see those same four strange green creatures from last night and a girl. Who looked about your age. She was dressed in a tight fitting body suit with armor on it. She had short black and blonde hair and her lips were blood red and she was advancing on the...you didn't know what to call them.

As the battle insued, the girl suddenly turned her head and made eye contact with you. Her eyes widened than her eyebrows creased in a frown. She turned. "You! Who are you?"

She cried. The four figures stood still and acknowledged your presence to which they all had different reactions. The blue masked one looked mortified. The purple masked one looked shocked to see you there. The orange masked one looked excitedly shocked and the red one looked angry.

You took that as your sign to exit that scene and quickly climbed down the ladder of the fire escape.

You slid down the fire escape. You dared to look up and saw the black haired girl charging after you. Your feet hit the ground. You had no time to to notice the pain. Adrenaline was running through you. You sprinted out onto the streets, turned a corner. You stopped suddenly when you saw a big mutant dog, a mutant fish with a bunch of ninjas dressed in black.

You gasped. The dog grinned. Not very friendly. You slowly backed up when you suddenly yelled out. Crying in pain you fall to your knees than fall onto your side.

You look up and see the black haired girl standing above you with a katana in her hand with blood dripping from the blade..your blood.

Your vision gets blurry. The girl smirks and leans down to your level.

"Next you should mind your own business sweetheart."

Her, the mutants and the ninjas disappeared around the corner, leaving you alone and near death.

A tear slid down your cheek. You didn't know what was going to happen when that all happened. One thing you did know was that this is where you would die. You cried. Not because you were afraid to die but because you knew that no one would miss you. Fong and the rest, you were only a pawn to them. A way for them to have someone innocent looking get into the hard places. It was over. Everything was about to be over...than your eyes still being closed you suddenly felt you were being lifted. You didn't bother opening your eyes. You didn't have the strength.

Is it Fong? Or Tsoi? Maybe I'm already dead.

You thought grimly. You weren't sure and at this point you really didn't care. Your mind began to come fuzzy and sleep became something that was coming on you rather quickly.

And just like that, your world disappeared.
