"You promised." You whispered, releasing a shaky breath. "I'm sorry." Your boyfriend said to you. You looked away, not able to look at him any more. "You cheated on me." You said voice cracking. "I was drunk y/n. I'm so freaking sorry, you have to believe me." He pleaded. "That's not a fucking excuse!" You scream, turning around to look at him. "You being drunk is not an excuse to fucking cheat on me!" You yell, tears streaming down your face. "I'm so sorry baby, please." He pleads, taking a step closer to you and reaching out for your hand. You yank your arm back. "Don't touch me." You hissed. You turned around and walked out the door into the pouring rain. "Y/n please!" He yells. "I never want to see you again. I hate you." You state harshly. "You don't mean that." He says voice breaking. "I promise you I do. And unlike you.... I keep my promises." You continue down the street not looking back, knowing if you do it'll break your heart more than walking away.
