Passing out

The bell rings signaling it's time for lunch. I quickly pack my things and stand up but stop when a wave of dizziness hits me. I lean against the desk and place a hand on my head, screwing my eyes shut, hoping this will pass soon. "Y/n? You ok?" I open my eyes and see my best friend Lily looking at me worriedly. "Yea. I'm fine." I sigh, standing up straight. She looks at me still concerned but I give her what I hope is a reassuring smile.

We quickly walk into the hall where we separate. I walk to my locker and open it, putting my books in and grabbing stuff for my next classes. I close my locker and turn around to head to lunch. Another wave of dizziness hits me but I push through it and continue walking. I finally reach the lunch door and slowly push them open.

I spot my friends and make my way towards them. "Hey." I say, sitting down next to grey. "Hey." Everyone says, looking up at me. "Y/n, you wanna go up and get lunch with me?" My best friend Liam questions. "No, thank you. I'm ok." I respond, giving him a small smile. "Are you sure?" He asks, looking concerned. "Yea." I say, giving him a small smile. He looks at me for another minute before getting up and walking towards the lunch line.

"Have you eaten today?" Grey, my other best friend, questions looking down at me. "Yeah, yeah. I had a big breakfast." I stutter, worried he knows I'm not eating. He eyes me up and down for a moment before sighing and nodding his head. For the next 20 minutes me, Liam, Grey and Jaxon chat and eat before the bell rings signaling the end of lunch. I pack my stuff up and quickly stand up, ready to get to my next class.

I stand up and a strong wave of dizziness hits me and I fall back into my seat. "Y/n?" Jaxon questions, kneeling in front of me. "Hmm?" I mumble, trying to get my vision to unblur. "Hey, you're looking really pale." Liam comments, looking down at me. "Grab me some water." Grey says, looking at Liam. "I-I don't feel well." I whisper, body swaying. "She's gonna pass out." Jaxon points out, grabbing my body. He gently lays me on the floor and grabs the water from Grey.

"Y/n? I need you to drink this ok?" Jaxon questions, trying to get me to drink the water. I blankly stare at him, my hearing fading and his voice extremely muffled. I see blurs of people moving around, then something cold placed on my forehead and neck. My breathing is ragged as I try not to panic.  I try to bring my hand up to my face but someone stops me. I blink a few times trying to see what's going on when finally I see Grey leaning over me.

"Y/n?" He whispers, rubbing your face softly. "Hm?" I hum, staring at him. "Y/n, you passed out. Do you think you can drink some water?" He explains, grabbing the bottle from Jaxon. I shake my head not wanting to move just yet. "Ok, that's ok. Just let us know when you're ready." Jaxon coo's, rubbing my knuckles softly. I nod and look around to see everyone's cleared out of the lunch room.

"Don't worry about class. We're going home once you're ready to get up." Jaxon says, noticing my panic. I nod and mumble 'ok' before trying to sit up. Grey and Jaxon help me and hand me the water, letting me take slow sips. "I'm gonna pick you up ok?" Grey questions, putting his arm under my knees and my lower back. I nod and he gently picks me up. We quickly walk to his car where he sits me in the back with Liam and Jaxon. I lean my head on Liam's shoulders as Jaxon gently rubs my thigh.

I must have fallen asleep cause the next thing I know I'm being placed onto a soft surface. My eyes flutter open and I see Grey placing me in my bed. "Thank you." I whisper, snuggling into the blankets. "You're welcome. Get some rest, okay? We'll be down stairs if you need us." He says, kissing my forehead. I mumble incoherently and nod, before drifting off to sleep.
