I woke up bright and early so I could meet Mr. Aizawa and Shinso at UA. So I threw on my hero suit and raced out the door.
As soon as I stepped outside, both Shinso and Mr. Aizawa were waiting for me. Wow. I didn't perceive either of them as morning people.
"Um hi," I said, "Aren't we supposed to meet at school?"
"Change of plans," Mr. Aizawa spoke in his usual groggy tone. "We're going to be dealing with first-hand crime scenes to give you more experience."
I was surprised, I didn't think we'd actually be fighting any actual villains in internships. I looked over at Shinso and he seemed to be a little surprised too.
Mr. Aizawa turned away and started walking. "Wait, shouldn't we warm up or something?" Shinso suggested.
"Haven't you been training all this time?" Mr. Aizawa said without turning back around. "You won't become pros if you only know how to fight eachother."
Me and Shinso quickly followed behind him.
Soon enough, we were in a taxi going who knows where.
Just then an alarm went off in a jewelry store outside the left window of the taxi. "This is our stop." Mr. Aizawa said as he swiftly exited the vehicle.
Me and Shinso followed as the taxi pulled to a stop. But by the time we could even get out, Mr. Aizawa had already tied up the thieves who had robbed the store and was returning the stolen jewelry to the store owners.
Are we that slow?
Mr. Aizawa made his way over to us. "When there's an emergency, you can't hesitate even for a sec-" A person covered in machines flew down from the sky and slammed into Mr. Aizawa knocking him into the ground so hard that it indented the pavement.
I jumped backwards from being startled as Shinso used his scarf to take hold of this person long enough for Mr. Aizawa to get out from underneath of them.
It all happened too fast for me to understand what was happening when another person flew down from the sky and crashed into me. I could feel my back being torn by the pavement. But I wasn't just thrown onto the ground, I was being dragged. This person was taking me away. They were covered in metal and had giant machine wings.
I winced from the pain in my back before he threw me into a wall.
Why do villains always throw me into walls??
The impact sent a sharp pain throughout my entire body leaving me limp on the ground, unable to move any of my limbs.
As much as it hurt, I was slowly beginning to be able to feel my limbs again. I looked up and saw the metal person digging through a satchel they were wearing. They pulled out a needle.
My eyes widened. Are they gonna stab me with that??
They knelt down beside me and was lowering the needle to my arm but I grabbed ahold of my scarf and used it to knock the needle out of their hands. I was kinda surprised that worked. Then I wrapped the scarf around their ankle and attempted to throw them into the same wall they threw me into.
But before they could hit the wall, they flapped their metal wings and lifted me off the ground again. The sudden movement made my body ache.
I tried to unwrap the scarf from their ankle, but before I was able to get it off they flew to the ground so fast the scarf unwrapped itself and I went flying.
I fell to the ground on my back and the pain was agonizing.
"Stop the struggling. It won't do you any good." The person spoke in a low raspy tone.
Then the one that crushed Mr. Aizawa came. I wondered how far away I was for Mr. Aizawa and Shinso. I turned my head to see that my phone was busted up.
Damn, how will they find me?
The metal person who crushed Mr. Aizawa came over to me and held me down. I couldn't move.
"I don't recognize this one.." The person holding me down said, looking up at the winged person. "Are you sure she's from UA?"
"I'm sure." The winged one said as they picked up the needle off of the ground.
I struggled to break lose from the grip of the metal person. But they just applied more pressure and my back stung. "Ngh!" I winced.
The winged person flicked the needle with their finger and started walking over towards me.
"Wait! Stop! What do you want from me??" I cried out loud.
"That's none of your business little girl." The winged person knelt beside me, needle in hand.
I struggled trying to grab my scarf but the one holding me down wouldn't allow me to move even a little. It was getting harder to breathe.
"Stop it you brat!" The one holding me down spat at me. "The more you struggle, the more it will hurt!"
The winged person lowered the needle to my arm and punctured the skin. I tried my hardest not to scream in agony. But then I realized that they weren't injecting anything into my body. The were extracting something.
The needle was connected to a syringe. But once they removed the the needle from my arm there didn't appear to be anything in the syringe. It was empty.
The person holding me down got off of me. "See? Wasn't that bad."
My back and my arm were throbbed with pain. "What... what did you do..?" I asked slowly.
"A simple extraction." The winged person put the needle and the syringe back into their satchel. "Go run along now, we don't need you anymore."
The winged one closed their wings into a small machine on their back, then they both started walking away. No.. Whatever they had couldn't be good. I had to find a way to stop them.
My arms felt too weak to manage my scarf. So instead I'd use my quirk to slow them down. Hopefully long enough for me to be able to get up.
But it wouldn't activate.
Then they turned around to see the confused and horrified expression on my face.
The one that held me down spoke up, "Don't give us that stupid face. It was only a simple extraction. If you really feel that bad about it then go cry to your mama."
Then the winged one put their hand on the others' shoulder. "Let's not be rude."
Then they turned towards me and spoke:
"Don't be afraid miss L/N, you never have to worry again. You're normal now...."
