Bold [Kirishima x Fem Reader]

Sorry, Sports Festival...

(Y/N's POV)

I woke up in a hospital bed and I was connected to a whole bunch of tubes. I looked down to see that the rest of my body was in bandages. I could barely move anything, all my limbs were tired and numb. But I could move my head just fine. So I looked around the room because I had nothing better to do.

Wait. Did Toru and Mina make it out safely? Where are they? And how did I get here? And where's Brawn Bone? Did he escape, or was he captured?

A man holding a clipboard walked into the room, I assumed he was my doctor or something. "Oh! You're awake! Uh.. how long have you been up?"

"I don't know, like.. a few minutes?" I said, my voice was groggy.

"Ah, ok." He set down the clipboard, "I'll get your doctor."

Then he walked out of the room. Having him concerned about me being up this soon got me wondering how long I was unconscious for.

A shorter man walked into the room followed by the man who had the clipboard. "Good to see that you're up Y/N." He said with a smile. "You can call me Dr. Fujiwara."

"Um, how did I get here? And how long was I here for?" I asked.

Dr. Fujiwara smiled, "The pro heroes Eraser Head, Ectoplasm, and Snipe called the police to chain up the villain that attacked you after they knocked him unconscious, they also sent you an ambulance which took you here."

Mr. Aizawa came? How would he have known where I was? That means Toru must've gotten back to UA with Mina to tell him. I'm so grateful. "How long was I here for?"

"Two weeks."

... What??!

How in the world was I unconscious for that long? I probably missed so much school! Dr. Fujiwara noticed I was stressed about this, so he said, "Don't worry about your schoolwork, your teacher will take care of that."

Then he showed me a warm smile, "You'll have to stay here for a while until your wounds have healed enough for me to let you leave. But in the meantime, I can get you anything you need."

"I'm fine for now." I said.

He handed me a remote for the TV that was hanging on the wall. "We'll come in from time to time to see if you need anything." Then he and the man who followed him left the room.

I turned on the TV, and as soon as I did, I saw Bakugo's face on the screen. Huh? What happened when I was unconscious?

As I watched, there were different clips of my classmates fighting eachother and other students at our school. There was even one of Kirishima, he was fighting a guy who looked as though he had a similar quirk to his. I think he was in class 1-B? And then they both knocked eachother out. Later it looked like they had an arm wrestling match in which Kirishima ended up winning. And because he won, he moved up to fight Bakugo.

I also saw Mina, who seemed to be healed already. She faced Aoyama, then moved up to face Tokoyami. But I couldn't find Toru. Then the TV switched to show an obstacle race and a calvary battle which looked like it took place before the one on one tournament.

I looked at the caption below the clips that were being played:

I missed the Sports Festival... I've always dreamed of being in the festival, it would've been so cool. And if it weren't for that stupid villain attack I would've been able to participate.

I felt tears come to my eyes.

Then the door opened and Mr. Aizawa walked through. "The doctors said you were up so I came to check in on you."

"Oh, well thanks.." I said while wiping my tears. "I'm fine though."

He looked up at the TV to see what I was watching and then looked back at me. "You did miss the Sports Festival, but don't worry. There will be other school events you can participate in." He reassured me.

I showed a faint smile. "Oh, and I uh.. wanted to thank you." I said, "for saving me.."

Mr. Aizawa nodded, "You're welcome."

"And um, could you thank Toru- I mean, Hagakure for me too?" I asked.

"I'll let you thank her." Mr. Aizawa said approaching the door. "Everyone's in their internships right now, but once she comes back you'll have your opportunity."

Internships? They probably were assigned them after the Sports Festival, which is why I didn't get one. "Wait, before you leave." I called to Mr. Aizawa.

He turned back around to face me. "Will I get to intern with somebody?"

Mr. Aizawa paused before answering. "Maybe.. it all depends on how soon you can leave the hospital." He took a step towards the door. "If you do get released soon, you can intern with me. There will be another student training with you if that's the case. He's not in an internship nor is he in the hero course, but I agreed to personally train him so it will seem like he's interning with you."

"Ok," I nodded.

With that, Mr. Aizawa left the room. And I was left there with my thoughts and the TV which was now playing something completely different.

I turned it off and just sat in silence staring at the wall. I already missed the Sports Festival, and I'll miss the internships too if I don't heal in time. So my body better start healing. Hopefully, I won't miss it.
