The Entrance Exam

(Y/N's POV)

We got in!! Well... not totally. Yet! Me and Toru were accepted by the school but we still had to go through the entrance exam. That was the real test. That's what really determines whether we got in or not.

I met with Toru once we got there. "Omg! Can you believe this is really happening?!" She said excitedly.

"I know right?! We are literally going to go to the #1 ranked high school for heroics!" I said, matching her excitement.

"Right! Let's go get seats before it starts." Toru grabbed my hand and led me into the building.

We sat somewhere near the front of this giant auditorium right before a man walked on the stage. "ARE YOU READYYY??" He yelled to the audience.

When there was silence in the audience he said, "hm, tough crowd. I guess I'll just skip to how the practical exams are gonna work."

As he explained, I got kind of worried. Fighting robots? My quirk isn't meant for this. I actually might fail.. I should probably just look for the higher point robots and see what my options are. Hopefully I'll do well enough to get in.

Before I knew it, it was time to begin.

We entered the area where the exam would be taking place. It was so crowded I could barely move until people spread out.

As people started to clear, I ran around trying to find some robots. I rounded a corner and out of nowhere a 2-pointer came straight at me. And before I had any time to react, it exploded.

A blonde haired boy jumped over wreck caused by the explosion. "Out of the way dumbass!!" He yelled.

I stepped backward as he raced forward exploding any robot in his way. How can someone's quirk be so powerful?

I realized that I was wasting time just standing around. As I ran forward, I saw a giant pole just laying on the ground. I figured I could use it as a weapon so I picked it up the best I could and carried it with me. It was really heavy, weighing me down every step I took.

After a while I started to see more and more robots. I used the pole I picked up to swing at them, that usually worked. Then I heard a familiar voice coming from my left. It was Toru! I realized I got separated from her when we were entering, due to how many people were there. I hope she was doing alright, her quirk isn't really meant for this sort of stuff either.

I started running in the direction of her voice. "Toru! I'm here! I'm coming!"

When I saw her she was caught between some ripped up robot remains. And a 3-pointer was coming straight for her!

My arms ached from the weight of the pole, but I knew I had to save her. I ran up to the robot and swung the pole at the robot, smashing it to pieces. Then, I dropped the pole and fell to my knees. All of my limbs felt like jello.

"Y/N!! That was incredible!!" I heard from behind me.

Oh right! I got up, despite the pain and helped Toru out of the rubble. "Sorry I couldn't find you," She said, "I knocked out a few of the robots but I just got stuck in one of them."

Before I could respond, the speaker came on "TIME'S UP!!"
