Seventeen - Untold Feelings

It's Saturday sometime in November. It's been 3 weeks since Taehyung's friends learned about Jisoo and her pregnancy. As expected, everyone was shocked by the sudden news. Something that they never expected especially from Taehyung.

It took some time before his friends fully accepted the situation. All of them knew that Taehyung has the tendency to be a reserved type of guy and will not like anyone so easily. Since his last relationship, Taehyung has never been with anyone. So hearing about him having a one-night stand and eventually falling in love with the girl is something not easy to accept.

And yes, the boys already know about Taehyung's feelings for Jisoo. He told them as he doesn't want to keep any secrets from them anymore.

Jungkook: "Did you already talk to her about it?" He asked.

Taehyung and his friends are in a vacation house owned by his family. Because of some event at school which means there no classes, everyone decided to go on a short getaway to enjoy the long weekend.

Jimin: "Of course!" He blurted out. "Not yet." He added before laughing.

Jungkook: "It's been weeks, bro. What's stopping you from telling her?" He asked with a curious tone.

Taehyung: "I think she's not yet ready." He simply answered while looking at the open space in front of him.

They are in the backyard near the pool area.

Jhope: "How did you know that she's not yet ready?" He asked. "And you think she doesn't notice how whipped you are to her? You might not realize bro but you're acting like a whipped boyfriend towards her." He continued.

Suga: "Husband is the right word." He corrected.

Jhope: "Right... right." He said, nodding his head.

All Taehyung could do was sigh. His friends are making a good point.

Taehyung: "I don't know. I-I just feel like she's feeling awkward with me sometimes. There are times when I feel like she's avoiding being close to me." He said before taking a deep breath.

Suga: "Maybe that's because she's not fully understanding why you are acting like that to her. I mean how you are treating her right now. Maybe she's confused if the way you care for her is just because of your baby or because you already love her." He explained nonchalantly.

Jimin: "We're thinking the same, bro. But this man right here." He said pointing to Taehyung. "...is such a coward guy." He chuckled.

Taehyung was trying to stay clam. He cannot be annoyed with his friends because what they are saying is the truth.

Jungkook: "When are your parents coming back, bro?" He then asked.

Taehyung: "Next month. During the holidays." He simply answered.

Jungkook: "I think it's better if you and Jisoo have already settled your feelings before you even talk to your parents about it. That way they won't have any reasons to disapprove your relationship with her." He told him.

Taehyung briefly glanced at his friend. He s right. When he gets the chance to talk to his parents, he should say that he's not only taking responsibility for the baby but for her as well.
