Thirty-Two - Twisted Journey

Jisoo woke up from her sleep. She yawned before pulling herself up. She glanced at the clock on the bedside table.

5:00 AM

Jisoo slowly removed the blanket covering her body before bringing her feet to the floor. She was about to stand when Taehyung grabbed her by the hand.

Taehyung: "Let me, babe." He said in a low and husky voice.

Jisoo looked at him for a moment before smiling while shaking her head.

Jisoo: "No, babe. Go back to sleep and I'll put him back to sleep. You stayed up last night watching over him. You need to get more rest." She said as she slowly pulled herself up from the bed.

Taehyung nodded with a small smile on his face.

Jisoo walked toward the crib and gently pick Ji-hyun up, who was crying.

"Sshhh. Don't cry baby, mama's here." She cooed quietly.

"Stop crying now, Ji-hyun. Papa's resting." She was talking to her son sweetly.

She placed her son's head on her shoulder and bounced him in her arms as she carefully opened the door and left the room.

It has been a month now since Ji-hyun was born. Taehyung cannot stop admiring Jisoo and loving her even more. Taehyung and Jisoo's relationship also became stronger. They consider themselves as husband and wife. 

After around 10 minutes, Jisoo's back in the room with her son already sleeping in her arms. She gently laid her son back in the crib.

Jisoo silently walked toward the bed, looking at Taehyung with so much admiration. She leaned forward, fixed his blanket, and kissed him on the forehead.

She smiled as she looked at him. "I love you." She whispered.

With a smile on her face, she turned to leave, heading to the kitchen to start her day.

7:00 PM

Jisoo glanced at the time again. She frowned a bit as she was expecting Taehyung to be at home at this hour. It was actually an hour passed his usual time of coming home. Jisoo felt unnerved as if something bad was going to happen.

She took her phone and wanted to call Taehyung, but she decided not to do it, thinking that he might be on his way home any moment.

10 minutes later, she heard the bell ring. Jisoo quickly went to the main door and opened it.

Jimin: "Jisoo..." He almost whispered.

Jisoo: "Jimin? Why are you here? Where's T-tae?" She was confused.

For some time, the both of them were just looking at each other. With the way Jimin was looking at her, Jisoo knew that something was wrong.

Jimin: "Jisoo, Taehyung... he... Tae wanted to give this to you..." He almost choked on every word that he was saying.
