Ben's POV
My fleet is on our way to Earth to finish what we started. I gave command of The Journey to Ross and he is now in command of the fleet during this battle. "We will be coming out of slipspace in 2 minutes. " Ross says. "Alright" we soon arrive at Earth and attack The Didact.
On Earth
I took my ship and 2 escort ships down to the planet to finish what we started. My small army I have is destroying everything in sight, Including UNSC buildings and shipyards. My ship attacks from the sky taking out large gun platforms. We arrive at the ONI installation where they kidnapped me from Onyx. "Make sure no forces pass." I say to my Field Commander. I walk in with the Arbiter and we are stared at as we walk to the elevator. We get in it and I press the button to go down to the command center. We walk into the command center and I see the Director in the center of the pad. "You make quite an entrance." "Where is he?" I ask angry. "All of this for one human. He was practical a slave under you." I point my gun at him. "I am giving you one chance. Where is he?" "Ben, stand down." I turn around and see Austin right there infront of me. "Ben...put the gun down." "Yo..you're an agent...why shouldn't I shoot you right now." "Because you can't. You are too afraid of what might happen if you do." "I. Am. Not. Afraid." He knows I hate when people say that to me. "You are af.." I cut him off by shooting him in the leg with my plasma rifle. "Wow. You actually did it." I look out one of the windows to see my Father's ship crashing into the planet. "Sovereign Heart. Glass the area of the crash make sure nothing remains." I look back at Austin and say "So this is where it stands then... You are an agent...you betrayed me." "I didn't betray you. you should have never released the Didact. "I didn't know that he was going to attack Earth." "Yes you did. He has been trying to do it for thousands of years." "I may have messed up but it doesn't mean you should have become an agent. They are the ones who pulled me from Onyx and studied me years." "They brought you here...where you belong." "I do not belong here. I would have gonna back to Onyx if it didn't turn into a million sentinels." Suddenly the door behind him opens and 10 of my greatest Elite Warriors stand there with Ross leading them. The guards are killed almost instantly. "Ross!" I soon see the Director leaving and I chase after him. He walks into a hallway and a force field appears. "I'm going to to kill you." "We shall see about that... it has been a pleasure to speak with you again." He walks away and I beat on the forcefield. I feel Ross touch my shoulder and I just start crying. "I know where he is going." "You do?" "He is going to a Forerunner relic that is the only one not on the Janus Key map." "How do you know what's on the map." "I've studied it before." I nod and Ross asks "What are we going to do with Austin?" I look at him and see my guards getting ready to fire at Austin. "Arrest him. Earth will stay the Human Capital. Arbiter, You and the Elites will control The Covenant at Sanghelios and any species who wants to join can have their homeworld a capital as well. I will keep half of the fleet at Earth including The Journey. I have already put in the order for a newer fleet at the Sanghelios Shipyards." "At one time, I called you an enemy and I wanted you dead. With that also came a modicum of respect. You repelled all attempts against your life, even spared the lives of the Elites who came to kill you. Thank you for your assistance in destroying the Prophets. I called you ally once, but now a friend." He holds out his hand and without hesitation I grab it. "Your Elites were loyal, always knowing that they would be on a suicide mission attacking me but an order was an order, that is why I spared them. Elites will always be great warriors." Arbiter and the Elites leave as I look at Ross. "Ross...I want to see our home...one last time before the end." I say. "Then lets go. Our ships have always been faster than the human ships so we should still be able to make it to the artifact." A couple of Elites come out of one of the hallways. "We will take him up to the prisoner ship while you two head home." "The prisoner ship won't hold him. I have a special place aboard The Journey for him. Take him there." Ross looks at me. "Your not talking about Plasma chamber right?" "Yep, try escaping out of that." They take him and Me and Ross heads out towards the front of the building.
