Just a little timelapse of went on during the past 10 years. Ben, the Prophets Guard, took a small fleet to a Forerunner Shield World and reclaimed a set of Forerunner armor that he now wears. Ross and Austin now are part of the Earth Defense team so if the Covenant finds Earth.

Ross's POV
"Ross, Austin, Danny needs you at the command center now." We run to the command center and Danny looks at both of us. "Ross, Austin, We have your new ship. Its a Modified Paris-Class Frigate." "Awesome." "I know its something you don't want to hear but, we used parts from Ben's crashed Frigate to--" He was interrupted by the A.I. Bob II (This is not Bob. he will come into the story soon) "Sir, sensors picked up a Covenant Fleet just outside are cannons' range." "Show me." ""15 Covenant capital ships just outside the killzone."" "Austin,Ross, get to your ship and link up with the Home fleet." he turns around and says to himself "something doesn't add up. The fleet that took Reach was 50x the size of this. Fleet Admiral Bob, Give their carriers a straight shot at Earth. "
We make it to our ship and it looks 2x bigger than a standard Paris- Class. we get in and the crew is already in it. "Sir, where are we heading?" "Link up with the fleet." "yes sir" Me and Austin sit in our command seats and we prep for launch.
We're now on the planet and Bob II says ""The message just repeats, Regret, Regret"" "What do you think it means." I ask him. "I believe its The name of one of their Leaders. A Prophet. He's on that carrier and he's calling for help." we both get up and get into dropships. "Keep the ship warm." we fly down to the surface and we run into a Scarab tank. My armors shield comes on and we crash right into the building beside us. Everyone except the pilot makes it out. "Rally at the Main Bridge."
We make it pass the bridge and we are going to corner the scarab tank. Me and Austin, with a few other marines. Oncw the Scarab is down, 4 Phantom Dropships rise from the area below and two Honor Guard elites come out and one humanoid in what appers to be Forerunner armor. "So the humans still try to stop The Great Journey." "We will do everything in our power to stop the rings from firing." "Lighting the Ring, is the will of the gods. IT SHALL SEND US INTO THE DIVINE BEYOND." "Why don't you take of that armor, alien, and fight for real." suddenly his mask starts to move and it splits into 4 parts and goes behind him. I look at him and say "Ben??" "The humans are blind Ross. But the Halos will make them see." He floats over to Austin and puts something in his hand. "No one can see the video inside except you." Before he can respond he floats away back to the Phantom where he came from but before he goes in it, he blows a kiss to Austin. The phantoms go back to the Solemn Penance (Regrets carrier) "Lets go."
We return to our ship when suddenly the Prophet's ship starts moving. "Danny, the prophet bugging out. Permission to engage." "Negative Ross." "Sir, Slipspace rupture off the target's head." ""Green Light, Green light to engage"" Danny addresses. we fly straight beside the carrier and get in its shields so we can jump to Slipspace safely. We jump into Slipspace.
So theres the 1st actual chapter. this book will only have like 12 chapters just because its based off a game. the double quotes ("") are not a typo. that means its dialogue from the game itself
