Emmet looks around. The atmosphere felt very ripply. He seemed to see some very familiar faces, but once he focused they seemed to ripple away. But there happened to be one figure who didn't talk. Only stood there and smirked.
"Hey, um hello?" he tried walking to the figure, but then the figure faded away. Then he woke up. He looks across his room and sees his sister peacefully sleeping. "Probably a dream, it wouldn't matter." Now that Emmet couldn't sleep, so he tried visualizing the faces he saw in his dreams. He couldn't. Maybe he needed the Book of Numberhumans. But now he's too scared to go to the library. So Emmet decides to use his 'common sense'.
"In the literal middle of the night? Well not really the middle of the night. Lemme check the time-. 2:15?! A book?" Talia stares at Emmet in disbelief. "Why not you go to the library?"
"I'm too scared."

"Fine, what book do you want?"
"The Book of Numberhumans. I wanted to see who was in my dream." Emmet gives Talia a derpy smile, always saving him in emergancies.
"Fine, let me get dressed then go."
Outside
Talia's all dressed up now and is walking toward the library. The night seemed to be more creepier ever since people started becoming statues. She finally made it to the library. Gladly it's open 24/7. But once Talia stepped into the library, she sensed that she wasn't alone. Talia steps into "All about Numberland" section and sees Teresa.
"Oh, hello Teresa! What brings you to the library nearly around the middle of the night?"
"I'm trying to find the 'History of Numberland' to see if this happened before. Maybe I can find a cure! What about you Talia, what brings you here?" Teresa asks, the same amount of curiosity in her voice but with a small bit of suspicion.
"Emmet suddenly woke me up and asked me for 'The Book of Numberhumans' book." Talia shrugs. But something suddenly sparks up in Teresa's mind.
"Numberhumans.." Teresa mutters but then she shrugs. "OH WAIT- NUMBERHUMANS! YEAH! THANKS TALIA!" Talia had no idea what was going on then suddenly Teresa hugged her. Then she froze.
Meanwhile, Teresa still hugged Talia tight and was about to jump around, but something felt odd again. Teresa let go of Talia to see what was wrong. And saw Talia, still as a stone.
