Lost - Edward Kenway

PART ONE

"Edward" your smooth, silky voice called out into the night, it carried through the air, to your one true love. "Edward" you called again, his arms covered with goosebumps and the hair on the back of his neck stood tall. As he realised this voice came from the woman he lost, long ago.
"come find me my love, follow my voice"

Your cooing had reminded him of the very first day you met... you were warm, passionate, and kind. He was rugged, but charming and humorous. In fairness, you were total opposites, but drawn to eachother like a moth to flame. And when he finally heard your comforting voice after all this time of loss and pain, he felt that same warmth, and passion the two of you always shared. It was late into the night, but he didn't care, he gathered what he needed and headed off into the shadows... where he would find you, his one true love.

While travelling, he thought of the day he lost you. You were both at sea, on your ship "the Jackdaw" fighting against bandit ships, to take back the seas that you called your home. Your crew chose to work alone, although you had many allies. There were 3 bandit ships to begin with, and then along came 3 more on the horizon.

Although it may seem like these bastard bandits were the reason you and your love were separated, the storm that came after was the cause of all this pain. You were assassins, you could handle pain. Killing templars and bandits, righting all the wrongs in the world, that was your job and your life. The creed were the light in the darkness. But that light had started to fade after the storm, you were gone and Edward had stopped sailing for a while.

BOOM, a horrendous crash of lead and wood scream out, flames arise and light up the gloomy sky...
"that's the last of them lass! we did it!" Edward called to you, as you leaped into his arms, another victory of restoring justice to a crooked world.
"oh Eddie, I think that was our best run yet!" He always used to hate the nickname, but he loved it when you called him Eddie.
Your crew had celebrated for a while, before getting back to sailing.
"let's head back to shore, we'll find a tavern and rest for a while, we all deserve it"

There you were, on a smooth sail back to England, sun beaming down on Edward and yourself, breeze flowing through your h/c hair. But it all seemed to change when the rain started to fall. A once bright and beautiful sky, turned grey and evil. It threw waves and hail and lightning towards the Jackdaw, and Edward had it all under control. That was until the biggest wave hit.
You were on lookout, at the highest point of the ship, calling down directions to your crew to try and seek some safety in this horrendous storm. You failed to spot this monster of a wave, and was thrown from the top deck.
"EDWARD" you cried, as the whole world seemed to stop.
"Y/N, my love!" he tried to reach for you, but it was all to late, too far gone.
"its no use Kenway! we have to keep moving captain" a crew member demanded.
"Y/N IS JUST AS MUCH OF A CAPTAIN AS I! WE MUST SAVE HER" he was almost pleading to the crew, but they knew they would all die, if they didn't keep moving
"but captain, we-" he was cut off...
"SHUT your gob or I'll fill it with shot, do you understand?!" rage filled within Kenway, but he was soon knocked out by a wash of water that came aboard the ship.

And as quick as it came, the storm had cleared away... perhaps it was karma, for sinking 6 ships earlier that day, or perhaps it was just the way of the world.
The crew managed to sail the Jackdaw back to England, and they made sure Edward was safe. But with y/n gone, Edward in grief, and the creed without their best assassins, the world had turned upside down in under 24 hours.

How could the Assassins Creed avenge their loss? And how would they continue with pursuing justice and order, if all is lost?
