FINAL PART

hi there, my darling readers 🥰 this is the final part of this trilogy/story So i guess it is a Tri-Shot 🤷‍♀️😂 .I really loved writing this part, and I really hope you enjoy reading it

word count: 900

"oh how I have missed this" Edward hummed to himself when he woke up on the Jackdaw. He hadn't sailed for months, and the sea breeze gave him the same comfort as your soothing voice.

"My dear creed" your voice poured into the Jackdaw.
Edward rushed to the bow of the boat, leaning out into the open air while holding onto a stable wooden pole.
"y/n?! where are you my love?" he begged for a reply.

And for once, there was an answer.

"where our creed began, where we found our love for eachother"

Instantly, Edward took command of the ship, "WAKE UP YOU BLOODY SAILORS, WE HAVE A CAPTAIN TO RESCUE"

For the first time since you fell overboard, the crew finally found a harmony within working with eachother, their oars glided through the royally blue sea, as they sang sea shanties to raise their spirits, they made they way in haste to where the creeds journey all began...

Nassau. A small island off to the south of Wales, the home of Edward Kenway, where your crew learned to fight, where you all became the hero's that today's world calls the Assassins Creed. And most importantly, where you and Edward fell in love.

The crew spent the whole day sailing, with no resting and no stopping. By the time they got to the island, the sun was just beginning to rise. It was sitting comfortably on the horizon, while just letting enough light to peak across the shores, covering Wales with a warm orange glow, a blanket of light swept across the island.

"The Captain is leaving command!" a thick Welsh accent called across the decks, and for the first time in a whole day, they crew where allowed to rest.

Edward knew the island like the back of his own hand, he had spent his whole life here after all. He called for you. "y/n". And again. And again. He had spent hours searching for you, and had started to lose hope... until that same warm glow started to glow again, he followed swiftly, climbing and leaping his way past trees and bushes. The glow began to grow brighter and brighter, until it disappeared...

"what? no, no, no. Come back?! I need to find y/n!" Edward couldn't believe it, his impatience and anger grew once again.
"Hello?! Spirit? I NEED TO FIND Y/N, THE WOMAN I LOVE, HELLOOO?!!!"

"Eddie?" a small, mousey voice crept out from behind him. No one else called him that name, except from.

"y/n?" Edward turned around with such haste he nearly fell over. There you were, after all this time, you were weak after living in the wild for so long, you had made some makeshift crutches out of some old tree branches, but you gained enough strength to drop them and run into Edwards arms.

"My love, I thought you were lost forever" He began to cry, you had never seen him cry, in all your years of knowing eachother.

"I had faith in you and our creed. I missed you my dearest Edward... I love you" you cried with him, you were apart for so long that you didn't even move away from the hug you were in, you embraced the silence and listened to the nature around you for a while. Edward didn't ask how you survived for so long, he didn't even speak at all, apart from the occasional declaration of love.

He escorted you back to the ship, like the crew did for him when they were back in England. But you were so weak Edward insisted on carrying you back, bridal style.
It was rather romantic.

When you finally reached the Jackdaw, the creed greeted you with warm soup and tea, you all shared stories and laughed away the night like the old times, it was like no time had passed. The crew celebrated through out the whole night, and you and Edward crept up to the crows nest at the top of your ship. Once again you watched the golden sun rise, it mirrored the light shining through the darkness, just like the words the Creed lives by. But today it was shining brighter than ever before, for your family was re-united at last.

Edward did the cliche "yawn, stretch, and drape" as he found his arm snaked around your torso,
"such a romantic" you teased, it felt good to laugh again.
"so where to now, Captain y/n?" he asked with a deep, and warming tone.

"well, Captain Kenway, I believe we have a legacy to get back to, a world to save" You said, standing and pointing across to the horizon line... Edward got a little carried away by the fact he finally had his life of love, piracy and freedom back.

"you hear that lass, WE'RE BACK?! LETS SAIL AWAY, AND BRING THOSE BASTARD TEMPLARS TO JUSTICE" He took you by the waist, with one hand on the ships wheel, smiling from ear to ear, you were both back in eachothers arms, all giddy and in love.

And with that, The Jackdaw and the happy crew sailed off into the distance, ready to bring order back into the world.
