Under The Stars : Imagine 6 (Max Mayfield)

You, Robin, Max and El were all meant to be going camping this weekend but El said she's "busy".  That meaning she's making  out with Mike or whatever they do. Robin  also said that she knew it would be better if it was just you and Max as she knew about you two, and that something might happen if it was just them.

You were both annoyed that they couldn't make it but still were happy that you had each other's company. You decided to not go as far as planned as it was just the pair of you now. So you set a tent up in the trailer park near Max's.

You had spent the day at school as it was a Friday but spent the evening at the arcade. Steve picked you up from the arcade and had set the tent up for you both so you didn't have to. He drops you off and tells you to be careful and to go in to Max's if you get scared or something. When Steve mentioned one you two being scared you looked at each other and gave the look.

As Steve leaves, you and Max go inside the tent which was set up with snacks, comics and fairy lights which Steve left for you both. As you both saw the pile of goodies, you looked at each other and grinned knowing this was going to be a fun night.
"Do you want to sit outside on the grass and watch the stars?" You suggested.
"Sure!" Max replied.

You both headed out onto the grass just outside the tent and laid down next to each other. It was a clear warm night so all the stars were perfectly in view. You had a big passion about the stars and astrology, Max loved listen to you talk about it. She loved your voice.

You started to feel Max's hand move slowly towards yours. You knew she was trying to hold it, you held Max's hand and she stroked the back of your hand with her thumb. You two have hugged and held hands but have never kissed before.

"Look! A shooting star!" You squeal.
"Make a wish Max!"
A few moments of silence pass by, as the two of you make a wish.
"What was your wish?" Max asks.
"Your not meant to tell each other your wishes otherwise they won't come true!" You laughed.
"I'll tell you mine" Max smiles.
"Are you sure you-" Max interrupts you before you could finish.
"I wish I could kiss you right now" Max said shakily.

You couldn't believe it. You were just thinking how you haven't ever kissed before and it might happen tonight. You and Max's first kiss.
"So?" Max says looking at you worriedly.
You completely forgot you didn't reply. You turned onto your side to see the redhead looking up at the sky smiling.

Eventually, Max tossed onto her side as well. Her face of freckles coming into view. You loved the way they danced on her. They reminded you of the stars in the sky. 

You smile at what Max had wished for earlier.
"So kiss me then" You said proudly.
Max took a moment to respond because she couldn't quite believe what she had just heard.

A second went by.

You felt Max's hand pull you closer by the waist, your stomach was like house of butterflies. Max took that same hand and placed it onto your face, cupping your cheek. You moved your hand onto her waist feeling her belt. Max pressed her lips softly yet roughly against yours. They were smooth and the lipgloss on Max's lips  went onto yours. You both pulled away, your hand remaining on her waist and her hand remaining on your cheek.
"Sorry if that was bad, it's the first time I've-" You apologised getting cut off again.

Max's lips embraced your lips once more, telling you it was okay. You both pulled away again.
"Don't worry, I love you either way" Max grinned.
You both stared into each other's eyes and had the biggest smiles on your faces.

"Maybe Robin was right" You laughed.
"What do you mean?" Max furrowed her eye brows, still with the biggest grin on her face, that you will never forget.
"She said that she wasn't coming because she knew that something might happen.. like a kiss or something. I didn't believe her though" You answered. 
Max began to laugh, which made you laugh as well in confusion on what was so funny.

You two spent the rest of the night inside the tent reading comics and filling your faces with snacks until you felt sick.

This was the night where you and Max had your first kiss. Under the stars.
