SADIES POV:

I woke up in the exact place I fell asleep, on y/n chest. She must of fell asleep after me and decided not to move me, I love the way she does anything to keep me happy. She's my definition of perfect.

Carefully, I turned around so I was facing y/n, her head was resting on the side of the couch. She looked peaceful and content, although it felt wrong staring at her, I couldn't keep my eyes off her. I started to draw hearts on y/n chest to pass time.
"Y/n?" I spoke calmly. There was no response. After a few minutes, I let out sigh which made
her arm moved to my waist.
"Are you awake?"
I saw the edge of her lips beginning to curve upward.
"Maybe" She hummed.
I sat up from her chest, y/n eyes squinted as she opened them because they were adjusting to the light.
"I thought maybe I should give you a tour, you know of the town. You haven't even been there yet!"
I squealed.
"That sounds great darling, but let me have a shower first" y/n laughed.

Y/N'S POV:

After having a shower, I put on a white shirt, some black sweatpants and some red and black air Jordan's. I headed out of the bedroom to where Sadie was already waiting by the door. She looked up from her phone and gave me a huge grin.
"Ready to go?" Sadie was already out the door before I could reply, I followed her and locked the door behind.

We made our way out of the apartment block and towards Sadie's Tesla.
"So where do you wanna start?"
Sadie asked me once we were in the car.
"Hmm, surprise me" i smirked.
Before I knew it we were already out of the parking lot.

NARRATOR

Sadie knew exactly where she was taking you.

There was huge amounts of traffic that you would have to get use to because after all this is New York. All of the buildings were huge, some of them were so tall when you were next to them that you couldn't even see the top out of the window.
(I hope that makes sense)

Sadie parked in any close spot she could find on the side of the road. You both jumped out of car and interlocked your hands, Sadie leading the way. Every now and then someone would recognise your girlfriend and ask for a picture which you didn't mind.

Eventually, you walked across a road and into a huge park. Central Park.

The sound of cars and the murmur of people faded away the further you got. Pigeons, squirrels and wildlife now surrounded you. Sadie lead you onto a bench.
"I know that the city is breathtaking, but I think it's good for you to know that there is somewhere you can get away from it all"
Sadie smiled and you smiled back. You've always had a difficult time with anxiety and Sadie knew that you would need a getaway, so she brought you here.
"Thank you" A few seconds passed before you spoke again.
"For everything"
You both shared glances and smiles which lead to a kiss. The first kiss you had in public in New York, which some paparazzi probably got a photo of. In this moment in time, both of you were worry free.

For the rest of the day, Sadie took you to the 9/11 memorial (where you both shedded a few tears), a viewpoint for the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and finally on the way back home you stopped in a Hard Rock Cafe.

Now that you had ordered, you could relax. You held hands in the middle of the table awaiting food arrive.
"Thank you. Again"
You said, worried that you were annoying Sadie because you said it at every place you went too.
"Don't worry about it darling. I love you and I will never stop loving you" She reassured.
You and Sadie leaned into kiss each other. Once you both pulled away she began to speak.
"I heard what you said last night" A huge smile wiped across her face whilst you sat there in confusion.
"That I was your home"
Your cheeks turned rose red. You thought she was asleep.
"Don't worry, it's cute. Your my home too, I feel safest when I'm with you" Sadie was then interrupted by the food arriving.
Your smile grew just as big as Sadie's when she replied.
Nothing was said as you both filled the hole up that was in your stomach.

For desert you shared a vegan free milkshake. It was placed in the middle of the table, you both leant in at the same time. Your foreheads touched and as you drank your eyes looked up at hers, they were so beautiful. You both smiled at each other before pulling away.

You left the restaurant after paying for the both of you. This night was perfect and you didn't want it to end.

You made your way back to the apartment, her hand in yours.
