Steve pov

I couldn't help but worry for Nancy.......And Robin of course. Just then I heard something on the radio and to my surprise it was Nancy and she said "we are heading there now see you guys soon." My heart fluttered hearing Nancy say that she is coming made me so happy.

When Nancy and Robin finally got to the school. I went over to robin and Nancy. "How were the kids mr.Babysitter?" Robin said jokingly with a cheeky grin. "Oh shut up." I said gently shoving her. Then we went back to the others.

Robin and Nancy explained about the whole creel case and how that could be related to the recent deaths in Hawkins. But my eyes kept wandering from Robin to Nance not matter what.

       Nancy pov
  I was laying in my bed thinking about Steve and Jonathan. I couldn't sleep but I finally forced myself to go to sleep.

  I woke up and I looked at my clock it was 12:28 am. Just then I heard the doorbell so I went to get it. It was Steve and he was with Robin.  Steve kissed Robin and said "you actually thought I would like you!" His voice started getting deeper and scarer. I started running in my house. Steve transformed into vecna. I heard the clock in the background. It chimed 4 times.

Just then I heard my favorite song gimme, gimme, gimme by abba start playing. I started running up the steps of my house.
I quickly ran into my room and got into my closet and pulled out the shoe box. I pulled out my gun. I knew it wouldn't kill vecna but it would buy me some time.

"Half past twelve."
   I ran into the hall and I saw vecna I quickly shot him 2 times he fell down bc of the impact. I ran down the steps. I looked around the house and I saw Steve on the couch with Robin.
"Nancy wheeler the slut" Steve said laughing
"It's not real" I kept telling myself.

I looked outside into the sea of red and blue lights.

"Not a soul out there, no one to hear my prayer. Gimme, gimme, gimme a man after midnight"

I headed outside running in the weird upside down but not the upside down. Suddenly I heard vecna say "where are you going Nancy, he will never love you back." I turned around and tried to shoot him but I was out of ammo so I threw it at him. He stumbled a bit but then got up.

"Take me through the darkness to the break of the day"

I ran vecna close on my tale. Rocks kept falling around me. I just kept running. I saw the portal back to my bedroom.  A vine came and grabbed my foot yanking me back. "Nancy......You like Steve how dare you!" I heard Jonathan scream.
"Your not real." I yell. Still being pulled by the vines.

"I gaze into the night. But there's nothing in sight, no one in sight"
"No one to hear my prayer."

  The vine stops moving and I untangle it from my foot. I started running again. This time I got close to the portal and a rock collapsed right behind me. I sprinted for the portal I made it through just before it closed.

Woke back up in my bed. I was sobbing.
That's when I realized my phones ring tone is my favorite song. I looked at the phone next to me on the bedside table and I picked up (stop song) "hello?" I said choking on my tears. "Hey, um sorry to call you late nance I just wanted to check on you." Steve said from the other end of the line.

"No...I-I-it-s...O-kay" I said stuttering from crying. "Hey Nance you okay?"
"Yes?" "Nancy tell me the truth." He said in a soft comforting voice. "No Im not okay Steve. Can you come stay with me?"
Part of me thoughts it was dumb having my ex come over. But the other part of me knew I needed him right now. "Of course Nancy I'll head over and I'll come through the window."
"Thank you Steve" I said hanging up the phone.

Steve pov
I was up thinking about Nancy I was worried for her. I have no clue why but I decided to call her it took a couple minutes till she picked up but when she did my heart fluttered when I heard her voice. I could hear her crying through the phone. Which broke my heart. She asked if I would come over. I said I would do

I quickly threw on a jacket over my yellow sweater. Then I got in my car and drove to Nancy's house. I parked in the street next to her house. I walked up to her window and climbed up and then nocked on her window she came and opened it for me.

I had just barely crawled in her room when she hugged me. I put one hand on her back and the other on the back of her head letting her cry into my chest. "Hey Nance what's up?" I said softly rubbing her back.
I heard a muffled "vecna" come from her. I slowly let go of her and looked down I put a hand on her forehead "your freezing wheeler" I said concerned "will you tell me what happened?" I slowly took of my jacket and put it on her shoulders.

She let go of me and sat on her bed I laid down next to her. "You saved me Steve!" Nancy said half crying half laughing. I wiped her tears off her face with the sleeve of my sweatshirt. "I did?" She nodded and said "remember how I made Mike change the stupid ringtone of the phone to gimme gimme gimme by abba. When you called it went off and I was able to escape." "Oh yeah I forgot about that stupid song." I laughed a little. "It's not stupid it saved me, you saved me." I grabbed her hand without thinking.

Nancy pov
Steve grabbed my hand. My heart filled up with tons of butterflies. He said "good thing I was worried about you and decided to call you, I wouldn't be able to stand if I lost you." I was confused about the last part he needed me?

I adjusted myself now lay down in my bed. "Nancy are you going to be okay the rest of the night?" Steve asked standing up.
I slowly nodded then he turned and started for the window and I said "wait! Steve don't leave me ." "Alright Nancy wheeler." He said winking then he grabbed a blanket from my closet and laid down on the floor next to my bed. "Steve I want you up here with me incase I need you." "Okay wheeler." He said climbing up onto the bed laying next to me.

Steve pov
Nance fell asleep pretty quickly bug I was thinking about how dumb I sounded "I wouldn't be able to stand if I lost you wheeler." She has a boyfriend and you grabbed her hand she's in love with Jonathan. Get that in your head. But I love her.

She looked so cute sleeping in my jacket. She flinched in her sleep. Her hand reached around the bed until she found my hand. Then I saw a tiny smile from Nancy. I felt comfortable around Nancy. I slowly fell asleep hold hands with Nancy.
