I couldn't resist posting this story, so here goes. I have about a million story ideas right now, but this is the only one that doesn't tie into my other stories, so I don't need to finish my previous stories before writing this. Also, I am super excited to write with gay characters because the LGBT community is so underrepresented in the media. That being said, the first chapter will be up fairly soon.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own the quote used as the subtitle.

"You taught me the courage of stars before you left - how light carries on endlessly even after death. With shortness of breath, you explained the infinite - how rare and beautiful it is to even exist."

Skylar Keaton has always kept to herself. When she gets shipped off to her aunt's cottage in the middle of nowhere for the summer, she plans on curling up on the couch with a pile of books and letting the months pass her by.

Halley DeMarco has always craved adventure. Small town life is less than satisfying for her, so when Skylar shows up next door all the way from Boston, Halley is determined to recruit her for an unforgettable summer.

Maybe its her parents' comments about her lack of social life, or the mischievous gleam in Halley's eyes, but Skylar finds herself wrapped up in friendship, adventure, and something much more.
