Gaining Memories

It was hours after the whole episode, yet Trunks was mightily curious. 'Just who was this mysterious yet alluring person, and why did he feel such familiarity when around him?' All these thoughts swam around the teen's head,  He finally decided to ask his mom about it after his nap.

While in his sleep he had a "dream", well really it was just the recollection of memories his future self(now past) should have had from he was around 14, but it came late. Trunks shot up from his pillow, he now remembered. Android 17?

It all came to him, from the whole thing about his future self(now past) saving him basically and the whole planet from destruction. He remembered all that and even... A blush formed on his cheeks, of course, his future self(now past) had a crush on the cyborg, and it even went a bit further than that... there was an episode where 'he' even almost killed the villain, Cell after Android 17 was absorbed into his body.

Enough of that. Feeling a lot more revived, Trunks freshened up and headed down to have dinner. Well, let me just say he was in for a surprise. He went into the kitchen and found his mother talking to the chef, acknowledging his presence,

"Oh, you're awake. Go to the table. The dinner will be out in a moment."

"Ok, thanks, mom!"

Trunks made his way to the dining hall, on his way, scrolling through his phone. When he got there, who he saw almost made him drop his phone. Icy blue eyes were locked with his cerulean blue ones. He couldn't help but stare into them... A blush immediately came on his face as he realized Android 17 was in the room.

"Umm, h-hey,"

Trunks managed to say. Android 17 looked at him, seemingly amused, a smile almost creeping across his face.

"Hey."

Just then, Bulma and Vegeta came into the room, with Bulma telling Vegeta not to eat too much so there would be enough for her guest. Once everyone was settled at the table, the feast began. Vegeta munching away, Bulma scolding him to eat more slowly, Trunks' grandparents talking amongst themselves, enjoying the food, while Trunks and Android 17 sat, silently eating their food. Trunks didn't dare look up from his plate, his face burning red. Android 17, however, enjoyed examining the lavender-haired teen, to the point where he almost forgot that he was eating.

Trunks finally finished eating, a sigh of relief left him, almost. He excused himself from the table and quickly left. Bulma was somewhat surprised. It was the first time Trunks left the table without seconds, but she didn't dwell on it. After a while, Android 17 excused himself from the table, telling the family at the table that he was leaving and thanking them for the food.

"I'll be taking my leave now. Thank you for your kind hospitality."

Bulma said her goodbyes, Vegeta grunted, and the grandparents just smiled in amusement (of course, they knew better than to believe the boy was leaving that soon).
