By it was lunch time it spread that leona was celebrating her sixteenth birth day by this almost every one were wishing her even some that haven't spoken to her since she got here, there was a banner and gallons hanging in the school cafeteria that say happy sweet sixteen and they went on to say something nice she stand up and thank them all Denoy smile at her seeing how she looks happy jayden sat next to her kiss her cheek and the room erupt with cheers  leona smile jayden grin he got up and leave Denoy with leona
"This is great right?" Leona said
"Yeah I'm glad they all let you feel special" Denoy said
He and leona smile
"So you riding home with Abigail later?" Denoy asked
"I'm not sure I haven't talk to dad I guess I could and text him"
"What's with him anyway he looked so tight face earlier" Denoy said
"Probably didn't like his birthday gift" leona made a face
"What happened was it your mom?" Denoy asked
"My step mom said she's having a baby" leona whisper
"Say what!" Denoy asked loudly making the others in the cafeteria look
"When uncle is looking forward to marry your mom again, oh" Denoy said
Leona shrugged
"You think he is going to tell her?" Denoy asked
"I'm not sure"
They both sigh and it could hear i. The room although they were talking every where,
"You picking up your daughter?" Isabelle asked
She was laying in james arms cuddling him after some wild sex
"Im hoping not to" james smile it was two in the afternoon and they slept wake and love "I get to spend little more time" james said kissing her softly,
He was getting ready to leave when Isabelle's family got home
He greet them on his way out
He was on his way to pick up leona when she  text "hey day how is your day going? I'm letting you know I'm getting a ride with Denoy and Abigail"
James smile voice note her, "ok sweetie I noted so I'll see you at the party" he said
Since he no longer have to pick up leona he swing over o see Ivano at his house
Ivano gave him a martini and they sat on his patio, "it's your birthday and something tells me you're not having a good day" Ivano said
"Ah ah" james said
"Isabelle!" Ivano ask
"Gwen"
"When since gwen doing started bugging you so?"
"Last night she told me she's pregnant"
Ivano grasp
James nod
"Oh man" Ivano said
"How am I going to say this to isabelle" james sigh
"Just as you get her back" Ivano said
James felt devastated as if he couldn't breathe
"Wait and then talk to her about it" Ivano told james
"It's just one thing after another" he complained
"Every thing will be alright trust God"
"I trust God" james said
Ivano nod
"Then it's going to be alright"
James nod and he and Ivano sat and james have a few martini while Ivano drunk a few burban
Denoy and leona bid good bye to the others they had invited a few friends to the party with jayden and Christel they got in the car with Abigail and Denoy couldn't wait to share the news about Gwen's baby they couldn't get it out their head
Isabelle had told Kayden about the party they would have for leona and had invited them she had bought the tickets and arrange the ride to get them to the house but james said the family needs to have the party isabelle understand and didn't want to disappoint them but she wanted her best friend at her sixteen birthday party
It was getting late and gwen call james he was just leaving Ivano to go to his house, he didn't tell gwen before about the party she was surprised when she asked and he told her they're having a party  she sigh she had prepared for tonight with james and hope that they'll be able to do it later on after the party,
She left there went home and get herself really to go over
Every one was there to help leona and her dad celebrate their birthday
They were gathered inside when isabelle came, with her family Kayden and his parents
Leona came to her family and greet them all,when Kayden walk in leona scream and hug him "you're here" she said
"Surprise" Kayden said and leona grin she grad him to meet the others and they all mingle among each other
James was with isabelle and his daughter when gwen said  "I have some great news "
Every one focus on her "this is for the birthday boy" gwen said
Isabelle look at james and leona look up at him too,
"James and I going to have a baby" she said "YEAHHH!" She clap there was few cheers and james family became silent carmen look at isabelle james didn't move gwen walk over to him and kiss him, leona look up
Carleen look at her brother,
Congratulations" a woman said hugging gwen and shaking james hand gwen giggle up at james as she force between him and leona,
Marsha widen her eyes jeana hug isabelle at the waist but no one said anything,
For the rest of the party gwen spend more time holding on to james and following him around, james didn't get a chance to talk to isabelle he kept watching her as she now and then glance at him
Leona and james cut the cake together after making a wish
"What did you wish for darling?" Gwen asked coming to cling to james side "I bet he wish for a boy right james" she said grinning
James look over at isabelle she has they met eyes she turn away as if didn't even want to look at him he knew how disappointed this must be now that they were getting it on so good, he hope that she doesn't blame him for making this happen he was getting back with her so nicely he asked her to move in marry him and they would catch on but here come this set back,
"Some birthday gift ah" Alton said as he stood next to carleen and his mother
Carleen shrugged
Lula sigh
"Gwen sure is rubbing it in" luna said "Good for her" she said turning away again
She stop by isabelle who was about to leave and tell her she was they share a hug
James figure she was leaving when she hug his sister in law he made an attempted to go over but gwen held on to him "where you going?" She asked
"To say goodbye to some people" he said
"We're going to be leaving now" isabelle told Lula and carleen who were now standing with Alton,
"Well tomorrow" carleen said hugging her "thanks" she said
Isabelle smile
"Yes dear see you tomorrow if life spears" Lula said
Isabelle smile "yes ma Lula if it does"
She hug Alton
"How is the foot and hand coming on by the way?" Lula ask
"I'm to remove these things next week" isabelle said
"How that's wonderful" Lula said
Isabelle nod and smile she and her family said goodbye
"I'm going to call you later" isabelle told leona as they hug,
"You ok mom?" Leona ask
"Yes I'm fine, so I'll see you later"
Leona nod, I love you mom" she said
"Love you more" isabelle said
She said good bye to the other children
Leona hug and grin with Kayden
"I'm glad I didn't miss your sweet sixteen party" Kayden said
"I am glad you didn't" leona said pulling Kayden aside to talk she gave him money
"You don't need to" Kayden said
"For you to buy stamps and post me things" leona said
"Every thing can be share through social media" Kayden said
"Just mail something ok" leona said shaking Kayden they grin and share a hug
Before he leave leona classmate Kayla gave him her cellular phone number "call me" she said Denoy and leona exchange looks
James shake gwen away to go talk to isabelle she was making her exit when he held her "you're leaving?" James asked
Isabelle nod,
"Can we talk?" He asked
"Not now it's already late the children have school" isabelle said
"I can drop you" james said
Isabelle look over on gwen who was watching she sigh "later james"  isabelle said walking away,
"I'm going to call you ok" james said isabelle gave no reply, she just walk away
James sigh and shook his head,
"I'll call you" Marsha told isabelle,
They share a hug and went their way
James growl and suck his teeth when they drove off
"You alright man?" Ivano ask
"No I'm not alright, don't even know if I'll ever be"
"Keep heart my friend" Ivano said patting his shoulder,
More and more people were leaving and james and his family stood to thank them
"James I'm feeling a little tired can we go home?"
"Home?" James asked
"To your place" gwen said
James for got she was there all day and wonder what she did over there he wouldn't let her
"Go home I'm tired and I'm feeling frustrated now go home we'll talk tomorrow" james told her, "honey let's go I'll grabbed these for you" he said taking up the gift bags they said goodnight and leave gwen standing,
"James" she said
James put the things in the back seat of the van and held the door for his daughter,he got in start it and drove away
Isabelle remain quiet for the ride home she show Kayden and his mom to the room and said good night when she was to herself she cried as she think about it this was going to be hard she had kept his daughter from him all these years and she's not going to get in the middle of him being a father to his child,
Leona try not to speak she sit still as her dad drove over a hundred she had never seen him like this they got to the house and he park inside the garage help her with her things taking them to her bedroom he kiss her forehead hug her tightly, "I love you" he said
"Love you too dad" Leona said
"Call your mother" james said
"Ok" leona said
Isabelle try to wipe the tears away when her daughter call but it was obvious to leona her mom been crying she can't remember seeing her mom cried before they got here and it makes her very sad to see her sad, her dad is sad and nothing she could do, she believe it was going to be them but with her step mom about to have a baby she knew her mother wasn't getting in the middle of that,  they said goodnight and hang up,
Gwen call james but james ignore her he was going to call isabelle but he didn't he wanted to give her sometime so she could just ease her mind,
Gwen was confused for she drank the thing that she was told to drink same night before sex but james blew her off it was late but she call the woman who gave her that thing and she said to meet her tomorrow and she was going to make sure this time it happens,
james  had a restless night and his morning was even worst gwen kept calling much as he wasn't taking the call,
"What you doing?" Jeana asked when  isabelle came down pack "You're leaving again I thought you plan to stay"
Isabelle sigh
"Why sis?" Carmen asked
"I'll come back soon my daughter is here right" isabelle said
"Don't go?" Carmen said
"It's better this way" she hug them promise to call she left with Kayden and his mother,
Isabelle text her daughter to let her know she was heading home and that she would call her and come visit,
James call number of times but isabelle left his call unanswered
Gwen collect the drink from the woman and went by james he wasn't home and she let herself in through the side window by climbing on a chair
She have some martini and scotch then drank her drink drop the bottle in the bin
Leona ran to her father when he comes she had read the text from her mother and was crying
"Mom is gone" leona said
"What you mean gone?" James asked
"She left" leona show him the text
He had been calling all day
He sigh hugging his daughter he was disgruntled about isabelle leaving and it make matters worst when gwen car was in is driveway and he walk in to see her wearing his t-shirt and shorts
"How did you get in?" James asked
"Hey you're here" she said going to him
"How did you get in?"
"The window was open" gwen said
"You know I would be out and came and break in"
"I just needed some time to myself the baby needed some piece"
"Why you even in my clothes?"
"You never let me keep anything here and what I was wearing was making me uncomfortable"
James shook is head and walk away
"I'm going to go to my room" leona said
"Are you ordering anything?" James asked it was Friday and they ordered on a Friday
"I want a pepperoni pizza with lots of cheese" gwen said
"I'm not hungry if I get hungry I'll fix a sandwich" leona said she left for her room,
Gwen thought james would make an  order for her but james went to the kitchen for a martini something about it it look smaller he didn't give it much thought he just have a drink he went out back for some time in  to think and all his thoughts were on isabelle
Isabelle sigh and stretch her arms she had reach queens late Friday even but decided to settle herself before making any calls her daughter had text her missing you can't believe you left and some crying faces
Isabelle text her to say she was home and that  they'll talk
Isabelle has a tearful night as loneliness hits no james no family no Marsha no Ralf and her daughter isn't with her
Saturday morning isabelle call home then she call Marsha and tell her she was in new York Marsha was shock and can't believe that isabelle was in new York, "what about you and james?" Marsha asked
"James have  her she's expecting his baby"
"I guess your daughter is the one who got her pregnant" Marsha said
"What you mean?"
"Why all of a sudden she's pregnant?"
"You don't know if she wasn't trying"isabelle said
"Well it chose this time to get pregnant" Marsha grumble "heard from Ralf?" She asked
"Not as yet" isabelle said
She plan to call him but after the conversation with Marsha isabelle call her doctor and asked him to send some information in order for her to get the thing move from her foot and hand that is to be done by Tuesday of next week, she did some cleaning up found that Ralf had move  his things she look at the door and wonder how he got in she done remember if he had a key, she didn't unpack she just push her things aside she then call Ralf, "Ralf I'm in new York I've been trying to reach you call me or stop by" she said
Ralf got the message but he didn't answer he neither call or text Sunday isabelle talk to her daughter she could hear Gwen's mouth in the background and leona know it's because she heard her mom on the phone
"Let me talk to your mom" james said
Leona hand him.   But isabelle didn't want o talk to him when he said hello she disconnect the call
"She hang up" james said handing leona the phone
Gwen look at him smiling inside,
Leona look up an him and saw he was looking trouble since she met him she haven't seen him so miserable and broken, james was broken for he never though he would loose isabelle again, he push a smile at his daughter and rub her hair, "so what you want us to do today?" James asked
Gwen draw near
"I've only been to the skating rink once" leona said
"Cascade?" James asked
Leona nod
"Ok" james agree
"I call Denoy" leona said
James nod and smile
Leona ran off
"You know I can't go skating right" gwen said as she stand before james holding her belly james look to her belly then to her face, he can't believe she got pregnant letting him feel so trap and now if feels as if she has move in and his house is invaded, he nods "that is why you're going home" he took her hand they walk to the living room took up her bag hand it to her leading her out the door
"But james I can wait for you" gwen said
"Go home rest I will call you" james said
"But james" gwen said
"I'll call you gwen goodbye" he close the door,
Gwen sigh and growl and stamp her feet, she look to see the old woman next door looking hissed to herself and went to her car
