chapter 5: the day after

   You were always a light sleeper. There you heard shuffling sounds which had awaken you, you look around only to be in a unfamiliar area not remembering anything from last night. Just as you were about to start freaking out you heard a voice

  "Hey hey calm down it's just me you're in my dorm", Mary spoke

  "Oh thank god, WAIT- did we ? OH MY GOD

  "NONONO OF COURSE NOT ID NEVER DO THAT WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT NO, last night you got really wasted at the beach with the free beer but I sobered up before you. You passed out on the beach so I took you home because I couldn't find Yumeko or Ririka, I didn't even sleep in the same bed as you I slept on the floor so don't worry", Mary said

  "Oh okay"

You try to get up, stumbling around like a drunkard, head banging with a migraine. You start to recall the last few things before you blacked out.

  "You need help ?", Mary asks

  "No, I'm fine", you say, then proceeds to fall over.

  "Shit ouch, do you have something for a migraine. I'm never going to a party again"

  "Yeah yeah I'll get you some aspirin"

    You attempt to recuperate as Mary looks for aspirin for you. The sounds of the sink flowing amplified through your entire head. Is this what a hangover feels like, if that's the case I'll be sure to never get sloppily drunk again, you think to yourself. Mary comes back with a cold glass of water and a couple aspirins. As soon as you were about to grab them from her you felt a wave of nausea hit you, you grab your stomach as gag feeling as if you were gonna throw up everything you ingested the day prior, pushing past Mary you run to her bathroom, flipping the toilet seat up. Mary comes behind you holding up your hair out of the way for you as you puked.

  "I'm a wreck, Jesus"

  "Yeah, yeah you are", Mary says laughing at you

  "not the time", you say shooting her a death glare

  "Yes you're right sorry"

  You lean your head back against the wall looking at the ceiling. Mary gets up and squats down near you with a towel. You look at her as she gently wiped off all of the vomit from around your face.

  "Thanks Mary", you say to her in a quiet tone

  "Yeah of course, that's what friends are for", she says whilst smiling at you.

   "Do friends kiss each other?", you ask her looking her in the eyes

  Mary stopped what she was doing and looked down quickly as if she didn't hear what you said. She reluctantly spoke

"You're right, I'm sorry-

"I never said I didn't want it. I said yes after all", I said smirking at Mary

"Uh listen pukebreath, I'm flattered really but I'm gonna have to reject your advances until you at least brush your teeth", Mary says sarcastically.

"My toothbrush is in my dorm", you say to her jokingly

"Oh for the love of god it's too early Akari, plus you just aren't thinking straight"

"You're right, What I'm thinking right now is anything but straight", you say with a light smirk throwing your arms around her

"Okay and that's your que time to go back to your dorm clearly the beer affected your brain cells too much. This is why underage drinking isn't advised, come on missy"
