Lily's POV

It had been five minutes. Five minutes since the lesson has started. Fifty-five minutes till it's over. Every time I turn around to look at the clock face, I see the hands pointing to exactly the same position as they were the previous time.

Mrs. Ripley rambles on about some chemical calculations as I doodle on my notepad. Not that I'm not interested. I'm very interested but the person next to me was very distracting. I let out another sigh.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

Carter taps his pen on the desk repeatedly as my frustration level increases. I hate it when someone does that and I know Vi does it a lot just to annoy me at times.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

That's it.

'Will you please stop that? It's irritating,' I state with a frown.

He shrugs and continues tapping.

'It helps me think,' he replies looking at me. I groan in frustration.

'Well it doesn't have the same effect on me.'

'Bad luck, Clumsy.'

'What's with the nickname?'

'Well not everyone just casually drowns while playing a game, you know?' he smirks, referring to the situation in Hawaii.

I do not even want to think about Hawaii. How I thought he was hot. Well, he still is. But how I daydreamt about him too much. Not everything in the world is perfect. That reminds me, Sasha must be here, along with the other guys. How

am I going to face them?

'Lost for words, Clumsy?'

'You wish, Superman.'

'Superman? Seriously?' he looks at me with an amused expression. 'You really

find me that attractive?'

'I find you that much of a poser.'

He chuckles at this and I glare. I return to doodling on my notepad, whilst he also jots something down.

'Are Sasha and the guys here too?' I ask as curiosity gets the best of me.

He shakes his head.

'No Sasha, but the guys are here. Sasha wanted to stay with dad back home.' he says with a small, sad smile.

I understood that they were close but she was living with his dad. Isn't that a bit too far, why would any girl do that? She must have her own family to live with.
