A girl named Misaki arrives at a new orphanage after a fire had burnt down the last one, She is greeted by Mother and things were normal. Until some things took a weird turn.

I arrive at the new orphanage. It was nice but i still dont think ill recover from the last orphanage burning.. That orphanage was my home for 10 years, i had friends, a loving "Mother" and a big home. I see someone peek through the window. I ring the doorbell, the doors were huge! It had 4 pillars supporting it, 2 in the door's side and 2 in the stairway up.
Someone opens the door it was a lady with brown hair and green eyes, she looked really pretty.
Author's POV
Mother opens the door "A new comer? My my! What's your name dear?" Asked mother, While Misaki was looking at the house she replies "Misaki.. but call me Saki or Misa" Mother invites Misa to come in, after Misa comes in "Call me mother dear!" then Mother asks her if she wanted to eat fruit. Misa ate an orange. "I'll ask you questions and you'll just answer them, ok?" Misa nodded yes, Mother asked Misa about her age and backstory.
Misaki's POV
"Im 12 and I grew up in a nice family but since mom was only 18 she had to give me to the orphanage. I was only 2 years old at that time. Then the orphanage i was staying at - St. Lucilia - got burnt." I replied to mother's questions. "My.. Children in this orphanage have gone through a lot worse so they know how you feel, you will definitely have fun growing up here." Says mother, i actually felt quite better and bad for them at the same time.
[TIME SKIP, its 6:30pm]
Mother gave me a tour of the orphanage. It was huge! While walking down the stairs Mother asked me a question "What's your favorite color?" I answered purple. She went downstairs and asked me to wait at the stairs, when she came back she had clothes inside a bag when I opened it, it was a uniform with a purple ribbon on the belt the lace on the bottom of the uniform was purple too.

"Fionna, Kyrie, Zelaniya you girls have a new roommate! Now Misa, play with the other kids outside and ill call if its dinner time." says Mother, before i go outside I asked mother about the amount of kids in the house she just answer 18 and counting. excited, I ran outside but in a tidy and silent way. Why? On the way I saw an older girl walk very tidy and I thought it would be nice for it to be my first impression since im new. Outside i saw the older girl again, her name was Octavia and she looked nice. Kyrie, Zelaniya and Fionna aka my new roommates introduced themselves. We just played and ran around the yard
[Mother finishes cooking at 7pm and Octavia was first to hear the call]

Misa and the orphans head inside the house the children walked in a tidy and silent way. "Great job children! We dont want to upset it!" says Mother. "It? Whats It?" Misaki thought, The table was also pretty big like the house and backyard. It was big enough to seat 75 people! They sit down and do a 'role call' Misaki was a little confused but still went with the flow. Each kid said present when it was their turn then they ate. Dinner was delicious, the main course was macaroni and cheese with a side course or potato salad with sweet bananas, desert was Mangoberry(mango and strawberry) jelly. After the kids and Mother ate food, they went outside to go on a walk.
They get home at 8:30pm and the girls get to their room at 9pm since they cleaned themselves at 8:45pm. Mothers checks the purple room and tucks Misa and the other girls in. "Children, dont forget our rules. If you need to remember them or if you forgot, in your bedroom drawer there's a piece of paper with the rules written by great grandmother. Also girls, dont forget to tell Misaki the rules." Mother says before leaving. Zee says "Ky, Fifi go to sleep. Ill tell Misaki the rules" Zee takes out a piece of paper from the drawer, it was old paper.

"Here are the first 25 rules! Youre too new to know the other 25.. But, if you have any questions ask us tomorrow! Goodnight!" Then Zee fell asleep. Misa was surprised but confused about the rules "Why so many? Why does mother keep mentioning 'It'? Is this house hiding something?" She had so many questions about it.
[NEXT DAY, 6AM]
Misaki's POV
"Misa dear, wake up." Mother says in a soft voice. I didnt realize it was already morning. "Uagh... Is there any breakfast yet mother..?" I was too tired to get up. "Why yes, breakfast is ready." What? Breakfast is already ready? Mother must be awake at 5am already! But how does she have that much energy? Meh.. Must be caffeine. I get up and see Kyrie counting the doors, "right. The rules" i mumble. Kyrie shouts "Hey Misaki! Count the doors with us!" Huh.. I had to agree, its my second day here anyway i need to get used to stuff and chores other kids do around here.
"46..47..48..49..50.." I zoned out and looked out a window, I saw a man but i couldnt see much.. He was hiding behind the tree. I ask Zee(who was with us) if she saw the man. "Hm..? Maybe its just Lance.. He reads next to the tree and hes pretty tall, maybe next time you'll see him just sitting on a branch! " Zee said with a laugh later. So i just laugh it off and continue counting the doors. Kyrie later asks us how many doors we counted. I counted 71-72 and Zee counted the same amount with mine. Of course i never opened the 2 extra doors and just reported them to mother.
"Children, breakfast is getting cold. We better eat now." Mother reminds us. Breakfast was nice. We had waffles, bacon and eggs with orange juice too. Mother was a great cook and she always would make unique flavors for our taste buds! Of course she doesnt go too flavorful. But before we ate we had a role call, this time Kyrie was missing..
