Recap: You arrive at the new orphanage. After some exploring and talking with mother you go to sleep. Next day, you see a shadow man, Zee says it might be Lance. Then Kyrie, your roommate/friend goes missing at breakfast. What happened to her?

Misaki's POV
We seperated into groups to look for Kyrie. I was part of the inside group Mother went outside with a few other kids and the remaining kids went out the backyard and frontyard. I went outside to check something then Ada who went into the bathroom, claimed to have seen something. I was asked to go inside the bathroom and look for it. When i checked there was nothing but when i turned my back, i heard something breath and whisper into my ear "Misaki..?" I felt nervous. Who was that? Or maybe not who.. What was that?!
"Uhm sorry i left. I forgot something at breakfast." I didnt think it was Kyrie since her voice is more soft and silent so i closed my eyes.
Kyrie's POV
Why was Misa closing her eyes? Does she not believe its me? Was there a difference with my voice? "Uhh Misa.. Its actually me- Its just my voice differe--"Misaki cuts me off "それらの規則に何か問題があります..この家にも何か問題があるかもしれません(theres something wrong about those rules.. Something may be wrong in this house too) " is this girl actually speaking Japanese in frront of me? "結論を急ぐ前に、5分間だけ私を見ていただけますか(could you just look at me for 5 minutes before you jump to conclusions?)" She finally opens her eyes. "Are you a ghost?-" What kind of question was that?! "Of course not! Its Kyrie!" Says Zee behind her.
Misaki's POV
"GAH! How did you get here!?" I screamed. "I heard 2 girls speak in Japanese. Only you and Kyrie knows Japanese here since you both grew up in Japanese homes." Oh.. I didnt know Kyrie was Japanese! That was so unexpected since she looks nothing like a Japanese person. Kyrie had ginger hair and hazel round eyes while i had black hair and brown almond shaped eyes. Well.. Perhaps she dyed it? No, no.. Mother wont let us dye our hair.. Agh forget it, I give up.
Mother came in just in time. She told us it was time to go outside and play. How was she not surprised that we found Kyrie? Its like she knew where Kyrie was or something.. But i still went outside to talk about.. Stuff i guess. We played tag, it was too exhausting- Kyrie and Zelaniya were the fastest runners while Fionna and Octavia were 2nd fastest.
"WH-WHAT. ARE YOU EVEN HUMAN?" I said "Of course! Were just the high scorers in PE. Mother teaches us breathing techniques that are Very useful for running." Zee explains. What?? Theyre probably the fastest runners in 1989! We just switched the game to a filipino game Octavia -who is half filipino- taught us, called 'Langit, lupa(sky, ground)' Its a game where its like tag, but if we go in a place above the ground the tagger cant get you. Its easier than you might think. Then we just played tag again.
I climbed the tallest tree. Octavia says only Mother, me and Octavia can climb it so it was an advantage for me hehe. Its totally not cheating though, right? "Misaki thats cheating!!" Says Kyrie or the tagger. Woops.. I was about to get down until i saw a scorpion with humanoid eyes, it looked absolutely disgusting but interesting. The game ended to Kyrie sprinting on Zee making her fall and that -in our own rules- is foul play. While getting down i felt pain in my leg "Ow- I think i broke my leg. Can i be in the cast of Ms. Found-" "What?-" Kyrie says. I wont even explain the joke "can you get off me now." Says Zee struggling "oh yeah sorry-" Kyrie says on top of her. "Geez you heavy elephant." Zee says giggling "oi shut up-" Kyrie speaks back, she sounds salty, no offense. "Gosh if scorpions weren't that poisonous I would've picked up that thing and showed it to you, maybe it was a poisonous butterfly but whatever." I said before picking up rocks and letting the scorpion-butterfly-thing crawl on it. I climb down and take a plastic container to fill up with soil from the garden and put a few dead spiders i found this morning, after i put the rocks inside It looked pretty happy so i think i did a good job.
[CLOCK HITS 11:30 am]
After an hour or two playing more games, Mother calls us for Science and language lessons. We learned chinese today, no offense it was kinda boring but Mother did motivate us to listen. After that lesson Mother goes out the backyard with Lance to grab a few vegetables to cook, Mother did stuff fast so she just came back 10 minutes later. Turns out she just looked at the vegetables to see how they were doing. How did i manage to completely mistaken a whole different sentence? The food was already cooked, thats how fast Mother is. Of course we had another role call, i felt like I was in a boadding school. Mother would always educate us in every move and also when we make mistakes.
I got a call about 2 hours after lunch. It was the old orphanage i was in! My past Mother's assistant, Sister Hilda was on the telephone. Helga looked shocked and i didnt know why so i just brushed it off. "Misaki dear, im so sorry i wasnt there.." says Sister Hilda, I could feel her guilt buried in her words. She sounded like she was getting teary-eyed. I felt really bad.. "its not really your fault Sister Hilds.. Uhm.. Are there any children left who survived...?" "Yes actually.. 3.." oh.. The fire was pretty big.. Im not surprised there was only 3 left... "Its Daniel and Haru.. Well.. They will transfer to the orphanage youre in. The orphanage they currently are in is too full.." What?! My best friends survived? Not only that.. They're coming to the orphanage im currently in?! I was surprised. "I got to go now Sister Hilds! Goodbye, thanks for the news!" I rushed too my room to grab something from my bag -specifically a pen- and asked Mother for paper and an envelope. There i began to write..
