37 Don't force them to like you

Simon's POV

"Nana Fe si Max po?" I ask Nana Fe, yeah she move here sa US since tito Marcus died

"Nako ijo maaga umalis, ang sabi ikaw na daw bahala mag hatid sa kambal" she answered me

"Nana did Max said kung san siya pupunta?" I ask her again

"Papasok ata sa opisina ijo, madami daw siyang naiwang trabaho doon"

"Ah sigi po salamat...." I said then tinawag ko naman yung kambal "Yanna, Louie let's go late na kayo"

"Kuya let me na kasi" Yanna said while they going downstairs

"No Louise told you ah, wag ka makulit" sagot naman ni Louie

"What's going on there?" Tanong ko naman sa kanila pag baba nila

"Pa, Sabrina wants to skip school nanaman" sumbong naman ni Louie

"And why? Yanna?" I ask Yanna

"I want to spend my day with mommy... I miss her so much" Yanna said

"Look twins, your Mom is working na ulit kaya wala yung mommy nyo ngayon dito" sagot ko naman

"Really pa?" Louie said "yeah kaya kayong dalawa papasok na kayo, tara na late na oh" sagot ko pa then lumabas na ako

I send the twins on their school and then after that I go straight na sa company... God can't believe after ilang week's my wife has finally back on her work

"Good morning sir" an employee greeted me "good morning" bati ko naman sa kanila then I go straight to Max office

"Johan, madam mo nasan?" I ask Johan I caught up with Johan here at Max's office, he was fixing the paperwork's

"Nako sir nasa cafe po sa tapat" sagot naman niya

"What? Dad she bring umbrella? Umuulan oh" tanong ko naman kay Johan

"Nako sir nung umalis po kasi si madam hindi pa umuulan, kaya I'm sure walang dala yon" he said then he leave dadalin daw niya yung ibang paperwork's sa kabilang room

I awaited for 10 minutes then Max arrived, she look's angry and basang basa na din siya may dala pasiyang folder and definitely basa na din

"Hon where have you been basa kana oh" I said then I came closer to her then binigay ko yung coat ko sa kaniya pero she removed it

"Hon what happened?" I ask her kasi she's not responding again nagulat na lang ako pinunit niya yung dala niyang folder then tinapon niya sa basurahan

"Sir Simon" singit naman ni Johan pag pasok sa pinto

"Ay madam nandito napo pala kayo... Eto nga po pala yung pinapabigay ni sir Marcus, sorry madam I can't give it to you right away bilin po kasi ni sir kapag namata~" I cut Johan off

"Okay na Johan maiwan mo muna kami please?" Sabi ko naman then umalis na siya tapos nilapag ko sa table ni Max yung papel

"Hon you want to go home na ba?" I ask Max pero umiling lang siya nakita ko din yung pinunit niya sketch pala yung last proj sana ni tito

"Wait me here I'll buy some clothes para makapag palit ka" sagot ko naman then I'm about to leave but she hugged me tight

"Thank you" she said "for what hon?" I ask her

"For staying, thank you because you never got tired of taking care of me" she said while crying then I face her

"Hon it's my responsibility, infact I promise to tito na aalagaan kita at willing akong gawin ang lahat just to make you happy again" I said then I kiss her forehead

Dolly's POV

"Anak kamuta ka?" Dad said when I open my eyes but I can't recognize his face clearly it's blurry

"Dad it's that you" ask him then unti unti nang naging clear yung paningin ko "dad ikaw nga" dagdag ko pa then niyakap ko siya bigla

"Miss moko?" He ask me then I just nod

"anak life is short so you should use your life where you are happy, don't think about what others will say if they don't like you don't force them to like you... Because sometimes you will be really hurt by what other people say, so what you should do is just keep fighting for your family, for Deanna. And I know you're mad at me when I mentioned Max, you're siblings so you should just get along with her hmmmm. Remember you are Akeisha Dolly Franzel Alcatara at anak kita kaya alam kong hindi mo lang binubuksan yung puso mo kaya hindi kayo mag kasundo ni Max" he's lecturing me again for what should I do while my head is on his chest

"Your daddy is leaving and I will never come back, anak learn to use your heart to reduce the pain you are carrying, I know you are struggling too. Hay Dolly Alcatara ma mimiss kita" dagdag pa ni dad and unti unti na akong umiiyak dahil sa mga sinasabi niya

"Ija anak, gising nananaginip ka" tita liza is shaking my body God ilang araw naba akong natutulog

"Tita ano pong nang yayari?" I ask tita Liza "anak hindi ka kumakain iyak ka lang ng iyak simula jung nawala yung daddy mo" dagdag niya pa pano naman akong hindi iiyak eh all my life my dad was my only ally

"Ganon poba si Dean po?" I ask her again "nasa school na hinatid ni Sandro" she answered me

"Alika kumain ka muna" she's handing a bowl of soup then sinubuan niya ako
