Chapter 3

These days lately have been going by so quickly.

It's a new day already and Zed wanted to start handing flyers around quick and early so he asked me and Eliza to help hand the flyers out with him while Bonzo hands them out by himself in a cardboard costume.

It's way too early to be out in the sun for god knows how long!

"Zed for prez! Vote Zed for prez because I'm a zombie, not a zom-can't be" Zed chuckled as he passed another piece of paper to another bunch of students.

We started to walk away from the small group of students "Okay, here's our platform" Eliza said, "we fight for zombie toppings on pizza in the cafeteria".

"Right" Zed agreed.

"Get zombie tongue taught as a second language" Eliza continued.

"Is that necessary?" I asked but only being glared at by Eliza "ok then" I passed a flyer to someone walking past with a quick smile.

"And how to overthrow your oppressors after school club" Eliza smiled up at Zed.

"Eliza" Zed warned her.

"Right sorry, don't over promise" She apologised.

"But the most important thing is to allow zombies at prawn" Zed reminded us of the main reason why Zed is running for president.

Addison came up beside me with her white hair bouncing on her shoulders as she carried her belongings in her arms "good luck, Mr Future president" she smiled at her boyfriend.

I soon saw the flashy pink and white cheer uniform come running towards us, it was only Bree "hey Zed, did you hear?" She cheered smiling uncontrollably "Addi's being tested for captain, and she gets to run cheer practice tomorrow!" Bree cheered even more if that's possible.

"It's not big deal" Addison disagreed only for Bree to give her a shocked expression "okay, it's huge" Addison finally let out a burst of energy showing how excited she was.

"A huge chance to fail!" A voice called out from a distance, the aceys, of course, who else would it be?

"If Addi aces this practice, oh my gosh, she's so going to be cheer captain once Bucky wins" Bree rambled on, I kept gesturing to Bree to shut up as Zed's smiles soon turned into a sour and hurt expression "he's so gonna win because you know, elections, they're just like these big old popularity contests. And Bucky is super popular" Bree ended with a chuckle but was interrupted by me coughing catching her attention. I nudged my head in Zed's direction.

"Thanks, Bree" Zed sighed.

Bree soon gave off a guilty expression "I know it's weird that I'll only be captain if Bucky wins, but..." Addison sighed.

"No, that just means neither of us can lose, because one of us is going to get what we want" Zed paused slightly "and I can live with that" Zed and Addison looked at each other in the eyes lovingly.

"Me too" Addison smiled sweetly.

Once the couple managed to peel their eyes away from each other we carried on hanging out flyers to students.
