Wyatt led me through the forest for about 20 minutes before we came to an opening with large rocks and an opening that was lit up from the inside, where am I? I took in my surroundings but realising that the sun had started to go down, I looked up towards the sky to see that the stars have started to appear which brought made memories from my childhood.
(Flashback)
I was hiding under my covers hiding away from the darkness that engulfed my room. I was shaking from fear, most kids I know are scared of the dark as it was a common fear to have in early childhood not knowing how it starts but I normally just hide away under my thick covers over my head with my eyes tightly closed.
I suddenly heard the handle of my door shake a little which brought in light from the hallway "Hunny?" My mum said coming into my room. I pulled my covers off my head and pulled myself into a sitting position on my bed. My mum stepped towards my bed before taking a seat on the edge, I noticed something in her hands, it was a small box "I know you don't like the dark so I got this for you" she smiled.
My mum placed the box on my bed next to her and opened it one flap at a time, once she was in the box she pulled out an orb of some sort with small dots on the top, my mum placed the orb on my bedside table and plugging it into the outlet; which was just to the side of my bedside table. My mum pressed a small button on the side of the orb which made lights start to shine all over my room in the shapes of stars. I looked around my room, every wall, every corner and the ceiling "if you ever feel scared, just turn this light on and the stars will look after you" my mum smiled at me one last time before grabbing the edge of my covers and pulling them up slightly allowing me to slide back under then.
Soon enough I was back in a laying position with my mum hovering over me as she kissed me on the forehead "goodnight El" my mum got up and off the bed and made her way over to the door and closed it behind her allowing me to head to sleep, I rolled over onto my side staring at the starry orb before closing my eyes drifting to sleep.
(End of flashback)
Wyatt grabbed ahold of my hand which gave me a shock but I quickly calmed down "welcome to the den" he smiled as he gestured to the hole in the side of the stone wall.
This is him home!
Wyatt pulled me towards the entrance of the den, I was nearly blinded by the bright lights in the den from being outside for so long. As we got deeper into the den a bunch of wolves I'd never seen before began to stare at us but suddenly a wave of howls echoed throughout the den, Wyatt soon howled after them. Wyatt didn't let go of my hand for a second as he walked into the main room of the den, I'm guessing before he was greeted by Willa with a wide smile but soon she spotted me with my hand in Wyatt's, I quickly pulled my hand out of his grip but I don't think he noticed too much.
"Why's Elena here?" Willa asked Wyatt as she came closer to us.
"I want to explain everything to her, she might be able to help us out a bit" Wyatt explained as Willa continued to stare at me.
"She's only human, what help can she give?" Ouch!
"Just give her a chance!" Wyatt said to Willa raising his voice a bit.
Willa gave me one last look before letting out a deep sigh "alright, fine but you can't go round talking about it to your friends" Willa warned me, I just nodded in response not knowing exactly how to answer.
Willa started to walk up a set of stairs with Wyatt slightly behind her but Wyatt soon stopped and waved at me for me to follow the siblings, I quickly sped up to keep up with them, who knew wolves could be so fast! We entered a smaller room with nothing more than a few chairs and an animal hidden to cover the doorway.
