Christmas Eve has arrived. The festive spirit was flowing through the air, but it got stuck at Minjeong's apartment. She was in her pajamas, eating salad and watching exercise videos. She had planned to start being in shape, so she could fulfill her crush's standard. Even though she didn't actually know her standards, she only assumed.

She exercised from 8 am until 11 am. She was basically drained out of power. She just wanted to lay down and sleep, but her phone ringing stopped her from doing so. She picked up, and just as expected, the caller was Jimin. She answered happily, hearing the older's excited voice.

"Happy Christmas Eve, Snowflake!" She said in a sweet voice. Bells and Christmas carols were on the older's background, which made Minjeong smile.

"Happy Christmas Eve to you too, Jimin!" The short haired girl replied, with a soft laugh at the end.

"What are you planning to do in order to celebrate?" Jimin asked, wiping the smile off Minjeong's face.

"Uh... Actually, I won't celebrate this year." The blonde responded, which left Jimin a little shocked.

"What!? Why!?" The older questioned her friend.

"I just... Don't feel like it." Minjeong sincerely replied, being followed by a moment of silence.

Then, in Jimin's mind popped an idea.

"Hey, what if we'll celebrate together? I mean, I am not going home this Christmas and if you are not celebrating, I guess you're not either. I prepared quite a lot of food at home and I don't think that I could eat it alone. Also, I won't accept a no for an answer." Jimin shared her idea with the younger.

Minjeong thought for a moment. She actually does like Jimin's cooking. And it'll be a shame if the food went bad.

"Sure. Let's celebrate together then." Minjeong replied, making the taller smile.

"Be at my apartment by six, love ya!" Jimin said an hung up, making the younger surprised. She couldn't get used to having someone tell her that they love her. At least not yet.

After she brushed those thoughts out of her head, the short girl remembered something. She had to buy a gift for Jimin. So, she hurried to the bathroom to take a shower, then to her closet to dress up properly for the cold weather. She wouldn't want to get sick again.

She went through different shops, but not a single gift that Minjeong found appropriate. Until she reached one specific shop, which selled stuffed animals. She saw a light blue whale that was almost as big as her. She remembered that Jimin really likes whales, so she decided to gift her this. She specifically asked for it to be wrapped in the green and red wrapping paper.

She left the shop with the cute whale, that was just as tall as her. It was hard for Minjeong to bring the stuffed animal to her house. And she knew it would be hard to get it to Jimin's house as well. But she didn't care. The only thing she wanted was to make the older happy.

At around 5:30 pm, she got all dressed up in her cutest Christmas clothes and put on her favorite shoes. She took the gift and a few other stuff with her. It took her a long time to get to the older's apartment, since the gift she prepared was too heavy for her. She knocked on the door and waited for her friend to answer.

Eventually, the door opened and she entered the apartment. She put the stuffed whale down and stretched her back. Jimin looked confused at her, then at the gift. The only thing Minjeong did was to smile at her friend's confused expression.
