The following day was Saturday, the weekend. This weekend the group of friends were going to be attending a party for Noah. He was the oldest and the first of the group to turn 21. Some of the guys from the football team had offered to throw him a birthday party, along with one of the other teammates that Dallas wasn't familiar with. Noah had invited them all, and before long what was a 'small' party had turned into your typical College get together. This meant that Noah was now the designated alcohol purchaser for the group, which they all loved.
Dallas woke around 10am, to the noise of Jasmin slamming their dorm room door closed. She groaned and grabbed the pillow, holding it over her head and burying her face into the mattress. Jasmin was a morning person, Dallas was not.
"Oh, you're awake!" Jasmin chirped, a little bit too happily for Dallas' liking.
"I am now, thanks to you." She mumbled from underneath the pillow.
"So, what do you want to do today?" Jasmin replied, sitting down onto the edge of Dallas' bed, causing the mattress to bounce up and down.
Dallas sighed. How could someone be so happy at this time of morning?
"Nothing. I don't want to do anything." She turned over and propped her body up with her elbows. "I want to sleep, I want to go to the gym and then I want to get very, very drunk."
Jasmin rolled her eyes and jumped onto her best friend, earning her another groan from the dark haired girl.
"I thought we could go shopping. I thought maaaaaybe...you could come with me?"
Dallas scrunched up her face in disgust. "Shopping? No thanks."
"Please!" Jasmin shouted. "I don't have anything to wear."
Dallas scoffed and lifted her arm, motioning it across the room in a sweeping motion. Their dorm floor was littered with nothing but Jasmin's clothes.
"Jas, you have TONS of clothes. You have more clothes than all of the stores in this whole town. Besides, what is there to buy in this town anyways? Why didn't you buy something online?"
Jasmin sighed. "I HAD something to wear, but I showed it to Sadie last week and I'm like 99% sure she's taken it to wear herself."
Dallas raised her eyebrow. "So go get it back?"
"Ok but the more I'm thinking of it, the more I'm not sure I suited it anyways."
Dallas shook her head and sighed. This girl was impossible.
"No." She spoke, putting her hands on either side of her friends face. "You just want an excuse to buy something new! Look at our floor. I thought I was the messy one, but you...you're something else."Jasmin sighed once more, standing up from the bed. She knew Dallas was right, she just didn't want to admit it. Her parents had been far too lenient with her as a kid, and at the age of almost 21 her father was still giving her money regularly. After her parents had divorced due to her fathers infidelity, her father had thrown money at Jasmin at every opportunity to try and make ammends for breaking up the family.
"I tell you what, Jas." Dallas spoke. "Why don't you come to the gym with me and Oliver? Remember I told you yesterday...you could really benefit from a few gym sessions." She laughed.
Jasmin shot daggers through the dark haired girl that was staring up at her from the bed. "I've told you before, I don't do the gym."
"I don't do the gym!" Dallas mocked in a patronizing tone. "You've never been!! Come with us, it'll be fun I promise. And if you don't like it I'm sure you'll find a boy or two you can gawk at for a while."
