The rest of the first  week back at college was pretty quiet. Dallas had made sure to stay  clear of the Law building and far away from Ms. Davis. She couldn't  believe how strict the teacher was being, and didn't understand why she  was treating her students as if they were still High School kids.
On  Friday afternoon just after Dallas had finished her last class of the  week, she pulled her phone from her pocket to find a message from  Jasmin, asking if she could meet her upstairs in her classroom - the  same room she had been shooed away from at the beginning of the week.

She sighed and then  picked up her belongings from the side of her desk, sending Jasmin a  quick text back as she left the building.

'And be in the same room as your bitch teacher? No way. What do you need me for anyways?'

Her phone buzzed almost instantly 'Relax, shes not here. I need you to come help me with some textbooks that I can't carry'

Dallas relaxed a little,  happy that Ms Davis wouldn't be there. The first week of school had  stressed her out and the last thing she wanted was another run-in with  an unwelcoming teacher.

'Fine, i'm on my way'

When she got to the  classroom, the door was open slightly and so Dallas let herself in.  Jasmin was sat at the back of the class, trying her best to arrange her  textbooks in a way that she could fit them all into her backpack. Dallas  watched as her friend struggled, groaning and slamming the books onto  the table in defeat.

"Need help there, do we?" Dallas laughed at her friends expense.

Jasmin jumped, startled by her friends voice. "Don't just stand and watch me you asshole, I need help!"

"You really couldn't  carry some of these in your backpack and the rest in your arms? You  really need to join me at the gym, Jas. Your arms are like spaghetti  noodles."  Dallas made her way to the back of the class, picking up some  of the books off the table.

"Shut up. You're just jealous." Jasmin scoffed.

Dallas laughed at her  friends pathetic comeback. Jas was usless when it came to insults.  "Jealous of what? Be careful picking your backpack up, I wouldn't want  you to strain a muscle."

Jasmin punched Dallas on the shoulder. "You really are an asshole!"

"Girls, girls! No fighting in my classroom."

The two of them turned  towards the door as Ms. Davis entered the classroom, smiling and shaking  her head lightly at the sight of the 2 girls fighting. Dallas turned  back to her friend, nudging her head in the teachers direction and  rolling her eyes.

"Looks like it's time to leave." She whispered under her breath.

Jasmin slung her backpack onto her shoulder and motioned for Dallas to head for the exit.

"Do you need help with  those?" Ms. Davis asked, dropping her belongings onto the desk and  heading back towards the exit to hold the door open for them.

"No, thanks. Dallas has got it covered for me." Jasmin replied.

"Yeah, I was just here  to help her with the textbooks. Sorry about me being in your classroom,  she just has the arm strength of a 3 year old." Dallas laughed.

Jasmin kicked her lightly in the back of the knee.

"You know.." Ms. Davis  started to speak just as the girls were passing the doorway. "I didn't  mean to be so hard on the two of you the other day. I'd like to apologise for the way I spoke to the both of you. I've just had a  really stressful start to this semester and I realised I was taking it  out on my students. That wasn't fair on you."
