Winter had quickly dawned upon the students, after Adaline coming up with a plan, which was up most Harry's distaste he thought he might as well give it a try. "This is mad, who'd wanna be taught by me, I'm a nutter remember" Harry huffed as the group walked towards the three broomsticks, "Look on the bright side, you can't be any worse than old toe face" Ron shrugged, "Thanks Ron" Harry replied back sarcastically, "I'm here for you mate" Ron nodded not getting the hint, "Who's supposed to be meeting us then"? Harry asked, "Just a couple of people" Willow shrugged, Adaline opened the door to see the pub empty, no one had turned up, "Lovely spot" Ron mumbled, "Thought it'd be safer, no one would really expect it" Willow shrugged. Time had passed and a lot more people had arrived, "Hello...so, the majority of you sort of know why we're here today, we need a teacher, a teacher who will teach us something valuable..." Adaline trailed off she looked over at Harry, Willow and Ron, her hands grew clammy, she was getting nervous, she never was nervous, "We need someone who is experienced in fighting the Dark Arts" Adaline added, "Why"? Norman Goodfellow interrupted, "Why? Because you know who's back, you tosspot" Ron scowled."So she says" Norman scoffed raising an eyebrow, "So does Dumbledore...and Harry" Adaline argued, "So Dumbledore says because he says and you say, the point is, where's the proof" Norman questioned, "One of you could tell us more about how Diggory was killed" Daniel Sluggs suggested, Cho looked at Harry, worried that he might say something she didn't know, "I'm not gonna talk about Cedric, so if that's why you're here you might as well clear out now" Harry sighed, "Can we just go, they're only here because they think I'm some sort of freak" Harry whispered to Willow, "Two more seconds" Willow huffed, "Is it true you can produce the Patronus charm"? Luna asked, the room went quiet, "Yes...I've seen it with my own eyes, both of them can" Willow agreed, "Blimey! Harry, I didn't know you could do that, you either Ada" Dean gasped, "And...Harry killed a Basilisk, with a sword in Dumbledore's office" Neville spoke up, "Yeah, it's true, Ada was there too" Ginny added, "Yeah, in third year they fought about a hundred dementor's at once" Ron reminded the group, "And last year too they really did fight off you know who in the flesh-" Willow finished the list off, Adaline and Harry had enough, they were all praising this stuff and these tasks they completed, but it wasn't a fun and awesome as they sound.
"Look, I know this stuff sounds amazing, but the truth is, the majority of it was mostly luck, I have always had someone else by my side, we didn't exactly know what we we're doing half the time and nearly always had help-" Harry explained, "They're being modest-" Willow began, "No, Willow...he's not, being face to face with all of this in real life, it's not like a typical Hogwarts day at school, every time we're at school and we make mistakes, we can just go to bed and redo it, but when you're out there, when you literal moments away from death or you witness you're be-friend being murdered, it's not all fun" Adaline sighed, the room felt a sense of guilt maybe she was right, "You're correct Ada, that's why everyone here needs your guys help" Willow agreed as she sat down next to her, "Because if we have any chance with beating...Voldemort" Willow frowned, "He's really back"? the young Nigel Wolpert questioned, Harry nodded his head slightly.
As the others we're packing up a piece of paper was on the table addressed to Adaline, she raised her eyebrow as the paper as it stuck out from under a coaster. She opened the folded paper a flower drawn in the corner, like the ones she received last summer from Willow, but the writing didn't match Willow's it was neat, Willow's was normally quite rushed. 'Your hair fiery and your eyes cold as the lake, your heart warm as the sun and you're face as beautiful as nature, one day I hope to match you', "You ready to go"? Neville asked, Adaline looked up from the piece of paper quickly folding it and placing it into her pocket, nothing but a smile on her face, "You alright"? Ron asked questioning the girls sudden chirp in mood, "Fine" Adaline smiled lightly.
Everyone signed up, Adaline, Willow, Harry, Ron, Ginny, Neville, Fred and George walked along the wooden bridge to get back to Hogwarts, "But first we need to find somewhere to practise, somewhere where Umbridge won't find out" Harry instructed, "The shrieking shack"? Ginny suggested, "That's too small" Harry sighed, "The forbidden forest"? Willow suggested, "Blimey" Ron gulped, "What happens if Umbridge does find out"? Ginny questioned, "I doesn't matter...we're breaking about a billion rules anyway why not break a few more" Adaline shrugged, "Wow...feeling rebellious today"? Ron chuckled, "I know a great outcome of todays gathering" Adaline smiled, "And that is..."? Harry questioned, "Cho Chang couldn't look away from you" Adaline smirked, Willow suddenly looked the other direction, "Over the next couple days we should probably start looking for places to hold the meetings" Willow said changing the subject, little did they know at the top of the tower someone was listening in.
The next day, Adaline stopped to read the new rule Filtch was putting up, it was stating, "Proclamation, educational decree, number sixty eight, all student organisations are henceforth disbanded, any student in noncompliance will be expelled", suddenly she heard the voice of Crabbe and Goyle shout something, "Watch where you're going Longbottom"! Goyle snarled, with Crabbe's pig laugh following after it. Adaline followed Neville, he looked upset, "Neville...are you alright, you've been rather quiet"? Adaline asked, "I'm fine...I'd say you'd been quiet" Neville shrugged, as they we're walking Neville's eyes caught something, a door appeared, the doors opened to reveal a large hall, with barely anything in it, perfect for the meetings, "Neville found the room of requirement" Adaline explained, "You what"? Ron questioned, "It's commonly known as the come and go room, it only appears when someone really needs it, like desperately" Adaline explained, "So, say you really needed the toilet..."? Ron trailed off, "Splendid thought, but sure...that's sort of the point" Adaline huffed, "It's brilliant, it's like Hogwarts wants us to fight back" Harry smiled.
