Kids laughed as they played in the snowy streets of London, one of the Christmas Fairy's flew in between the Weasley siblings cheering for Merry Christmas. "Here we go! Daddy's back"! Molly Weasley smiled as she wheeled Arthur into the table, the Weasleys applauded as they sat down, Molly dished out the presents, "Now presents"! Molly giggled, "And a nice big box for Ron" Arthur joked, "Big box for Ron" Molly repeated. She held two parcels in her hand, not knowing which twin was which she gave them whichever one they chose. Ron lifted out a large jumper with the letter 'R' on the side of it, it looked cosy. "Try it on then" Molly instructed, "Thanks Mum, it's perfect" Ginny smiled half heartedly, "Just what he wanted, actually" Molly laughed, Ron looked at the jumper rather puzzled, he liked it, but he didn't at the same time, "Merry Christmas"! A voice was heard from the front door, Adaline kicked the snow off her boots, as she joined the family in the warm dining room, the smell of the roast dinner filling her nose. Harry walked in not so far behind, "Oh! Harry! Adaline! There you both are, there's me thinking you'd gone cold turkey, Happy Christmas" Molly smiled as she passed both teenagers a present each, "Thank you" Harry smiled hummed as he gave Mrs Weasley a warm hug, Harry sat down on the table, "Thank you Mrs. Weasley—You are an honour" Adaline smiled, "The pleasure to have you with us" Molly whispered as she showed Adaline to the table. "A Christmas toast to Mr. Harry Potter and Adaline—without them, I would not be here, to them" Arthur toasted as the family raised their glasses, "To them" the family repeated.

A couple hours later after their foods had settled the group had set out onto their next adventure Ron with his new jumper on and Adaline wrapped in the bright pink knitted scarf, she didn't usually wear pink, but she didn't want to be rude and offend Molly, plus the scarf was pretty cosy. "I can't see why don't want to wear it, Ron" Adaline sighed as the three trudged down the stairs, "Because I look like a bloody idiot that's why" Ron huffed shaking his head, "I think it's rather charming" Adaline laughed, "And I'm supposed to take that seriously" Ron chuckled, "Ada! Another present has just arrived—two actually"! Molly called, Adaline's mouth formed an 'O' she had already opened the few from Charity, Barnum and Ester, Willow said she'd give them when they arrive back at Hogwarts and she didn't expect any from anyone else. "That's odd, I didn't expect any" Adaline sighed as she gently took the two brightly coloured parcels. She sat down on the cobby sofa, opening one, it was a pair of denim jeans, starry ones just like the ones Narcissa use to get her every year, Adaline's heart filled up. 'To: My darling Daughter, From: Your Mother' Adaline smiled at the yellow ink. The other present felt like a hard box, it was small, like a box you'd put a mug in, she unwrapped the present, the box was black with silk, Adaline slipped the box open, her mouth agape, as she shook silently, it was a beautiful mirror but it had been shattered and words had been written on it, 'Ugly' and a note was attached to it, 'You will repent and confess', Adaline quickly shut the box wiping her face as she dashed outside, "Time to go" Harry spoke.

The group had returned back to school but an awkward vibe had set amongst them, they didn't feel the same, Adaline didn't feel close to anyone, the boys didn't feel close to the girls, Willow wasn't talking to them, but maybe afterwards they'd talk, after Voldemort. But Adaline had to speak to Harry and Ron today to inform them of Hagrid's homecoming, so of course she had to chase them up, finding Ron was pretty easy, he seemed quite but finding Harry was more difficult, but Adaline knew who he'd be with, Cho. "Harry, Hagrid's returned"! Adaline exclaimed, the group practically fell and rolled down the hill running to Hagrid's hut but before entering they heard voices, a woman's voice, Umbridge. "I'm ordering for you to tell me where you've been" Umbridge sneered, "I've told you, I've been away for my health" Hagrid explained, "You're health"? Umbridge questioned as she saw a shadow outside the window.

"Yeah, a bit of fresh air, you know" Hagrid nodded, "Well yes, as gamekeeper fresh air must be difficult to come by...if I were you, I shouldn't get too used to being back in fact I wouldn't even bother unpacking at all" Umbridge taunted, she sashed her way out of the small hut feeling proud for interrogating the giant man, but he clearly wasn't fazed by it. Ron was stood there clear as day practically bating the three of them out, Adaline quickly dragged him behind her and Harry rolling her eyes at the boys obliviousness. After a quick spritz of her strong perfume Umbridge was on her way, causing a clear way of the three teenagers to scurry inside. "This is top secret, right, Dumbledore sent me to party with the giants" Hagrid explained as he set down four large tea cups, "Giants"?! Adaline gasped, "Shh" Hagrid shushed, "So you found more then"? Adaline whispered, "Well their not that hard to find to be perfectly honest, they're so big see, tried to convince them to join the cause, wasn't the only one trying to win them over" Hagrid explained, "Death eaters"? Ron suggested, "Yes, trying to persuade them to join you know who" Hagrid scowled, "Did they"? Harry asked, "I tried giving them Dumbledore's message suppose some of them remember he was friendly to them and I suppose--" Hagrid shrugged, "They did all that too you"? Adaline asked looking at the scratches on Hagird's face. "Not exactly no" Hagrid sighed, Fang began to bark at the piece of meat Hagrid was using as an ice pack, "Go on! You have it then, you dosey dog" Hagrid chuckled throwing the slab of meat down onto the wooden floor. Grumbling noises echoed from outside, as if like thunder, the group looked out the window blankly, "It's changing out there...just like last time, there's a storm coming, we all best be ready when she does" Hagird sighed, he was right, no one was ready.
