Chapter two : His number

" Will! Finally, what took you so long? " Jane asks but Will doesnt answer, he was acting weird and both girls noticed.

Will sits, facing Jane and Max stares at him, " Hey man, are you ok? Ur acting weird right now. " she says.

" I just- I fucked up, badly. " he says, leaving Jane and Max confused, " Uhmm, Why? What did you do? " Jane asks, but Will looks away.

" I.. I talked to Mike, right? B-but i made him mad and now I dont know what to d- " He tries to finish his sentence but Max cuts him off, " Woah woah, slow down, How did you even make him mad? " she says.

" I heard him talking with some guy and h-he said that he didnt want to keep singing.. And- " Will tries to continue but Jane interrupts him, " HUH? He doesnt want to keep singing?! " she says, and Will nods.

" Yeah, thats what he said, but then I tried to talk to him, even though I knew I am just a fan, but when I started talking he cut me off and said that he already made a decision a-and he walked away.. He looked pissed. " He continues, resisting the urge to cry.

" What?! He's an asshole! " Max says, but Will shakes his head, " No, I can understand why he got mad.. Im just, angry with myself, I guess. " Will says.

" But you did nothing wrong, Will! " she tries, " Can we just leave? " He asks, ignoring what Max said.

Both girls nod and they all go to the Byers house, Will and Jane go on his bike and Max on her skateboard.

After 18 minutes they arrived, " Gosh, finally, I couldnt feel my butt. " Jane says and Max giggles, " You're gross, Jane. " she jokes.

" C'mon lovebirds, lets go inside " Will says, and both girls blush.

They all go inside, they decided to watch some movies and eat popcorn but Will noticed that there wasnt any popcorn left, so he was going to buy some.

" I'll be right back, dont watch the movie without me! " He yells, and they both say nod.

Mike has been thinking about Will the whole day.

" Fuck.. Why do I keep thinking about that guy? " He thinks out loud, " I mean, I was acting like a jerk but its not like I can do anything! I need to stop feeling bad. "

" Who are you talking to? " someone says, " Why do you care? " Mike says, " I care because im scared that my friend is going crazy, dumbass. " The guy says.

" Ha ha, So funny, Dustin. Why dont you go to talk to your virtual gf? What was her name again? Susan? " Mike jokes and Dustin rolls his eyes, " Her name is Suzie, idiot. " He says.

" Whatever man, she's probably a 46yo guy that wants your organs. " Mike says and Dustin fakes a laugh, " Ha, ha, very funny Wheeler, You're just jealous because ur alone! " he says, and Mike rolls his eyes.

" I dont need a virtual gf to be happy, Dustin. " Mike says, and Dustin laughs, " Yeah okay, whatever you say.. " he jokes.

" Oh btw, can you go buy some food? The fridge is empty. " Dustin asks and Mike nods.

Maybe this will help him forget that guy.

Will left, leaving the two girls alone.

" So, what do you wanna do while we wait? " Max asks, " Uhm.. I dont know, maybe we can play something like truth or dare. " Jane suggests and Max nods.

" Sure, I'll start, Jane, truth or dare? " She says, and Jane takes some seconds to think, " Hmm, dare! " she finally answers.

" Okay okay, I dare you to go outside and yell I LOVE TITTIES! " Max says, laughing, " What?! Ugh.. I hate you, but i'll do it since I dont have another choice. " Jane jokes.

She goes outside and completes the dare, Max cant stop laughing, " OH MY GOD, YOU HAD TO SEE YOUR FACE! HAHAHAH YOU WERE ALL RED, LIKE A TOMATO! " she says, laughing so hard that tears are starting to fall.

" Shut up! You go now, truth or dare?! " Jane asks, trying to act pissed, " Okay.. Hmm, truth! " Max answers, and Jane smirks.

" Hmm.. Who do you like? " she asks, and Max can feel how her face goes all red, " Uhm.. I-, You.. You know them very well. " she answers, and Jane frowns.

" But I want to know who! " She says, and Max buries her face in her hands, " Its embarrasing, I dont want to say it. " she says.

" Oh c'mon, please! " Jane says, pouting and making puppy eyes, " Ugh.. Okay, Its..  Its you, dumbass. " Max finally says, and Jane's jaw drops.

They both are a blushing mess right now, "Oh.. You- I- " Jane tries to say, but Max cuts her off, " Its okay, you dont have to reciprocate my feelings. " She says, a sad smile forming in her lips.

" No, no! Max, listen, I like you too! " Jane says, grabbing Max hands, making her blush even harder, " Really? " she asks, her eyes lighting up.

Instead of saying anything, Jane kisses her. Max's lips taste like cherry chapstick, and Jane's like pineapple.

They both melt into the kiss, not wanting to pull away ever, but Max pulls away, gasping for air.

" Wow- I-.. " Jane stutters, causing Max to giggle, " You're so cute, Jane. " she says, and Jane smiles, " Not cuter than you. " she answers.

Will arrived the supermarket, now he was looking for some candies to buy.

" Hmm, which on- " He thinks, but then he accidentaly bumps into someone, " Oh my god, Im sorr- " he says, but then he looks up to meet Mike's eyes.

" Oh, its you. " Mike says, " I-.. Im sorry for what happened yesterday, I was acting like a jerk and you were just trying to help- " he tries to finish his sentence but Will interrupts him, " No, no, I should'nt have bothered you, its okay. " He says.

Will tries to walk away, its too awkward, but Mike grabs his arm, " Wait! Can i- can i get your number? " he says, making Will blush.

" Oh, uhm, sure. " Will answers, and Mike smiles, " Cool " That's all he says.

They both leave, without even buying anything, Oh god, did he really just gave Mike Wheeler his number?
