I kept the promise for a solid 15 hours.

To be fair it didn't take much to find out who it was, because Chaeun was proud to tell me it was her.

And now Keeho, Lua and I are making a scene in the middle of the hallway, because how could we not?

Chaeun's wavy extensions are being tested to the limit as I grab her hair and yank her closer to me.

"What exactly is your problem with me being happy recently?" I ask.

"Please, I know the real you Jia," She grabs my arm. "This isn't you, you're not happy. You're being so fucking fake and it's pissing me off. And it's Jacob that made you this way."

"Really? All of this because you think you're a smartass and you're not? You're so bothered by being wrong?" I ask. "Maybe if you stopped taking out your insecurities on other people, you'd be more popular."

I feel a slap across my face and there's a small stinging feeling on my right cheek.

"That was weak as fuck." I tell her. Lua kicks Chaeun's phone which she dropped earlier and I grab it and throw it. the corner hits her forehead and she screams in pain.

"You're a psycho bitch!" She holds her head and sinks to the floor.

"Sure." I walk over to her with my hand in my pockets, sunwoo style. I kneel down in front of her. "But don't worry. Your everyday makeup routine should be enough to cover that right up."

"Are you actually insane??" She turns red with anger.

I shrug. "Maybe. But at least I'm not a coward hiding behind a fake username."

"Yeah," Keeho says and appears next to me. "If you're gonna be a bitch at least own up to it. Like us."

Chaeun clenches her fist and stands up. She dusts her skirt off and looks at the people watching us in the hallway.

She says to me, "I'm the insecure one? Your father clearly never taught you how to read the room well. Oh wait, I'm so sorry. You don't have a father. Well that explains a lot."

Everyone goes silent because I don't have anything to say to that.

"Someone needs to put you in your fucking place." Chaeun picks up her shattered phone and stumbles away as people part for her as she always wanted them to.

"Come on, Jia lets just go," Lua tugs on my arm and I peel my murderous glare away from my former friend.

"Be honest," Keeho says as we walk out the hallway. "I kinda want to murder her. Anyone else?"

"The only thing stopping me is Jacob." I reply.

That night I'm laying on Jacob's bed with his guitar while he's at the desk.
