It was 1982, a 12 year old girl had her ear next to the door of where she hears her father and a British man argue. Their voices began to become clearer as she closes her eyes and listens softly through the keyhole.

"Joseph, you don't understand... Octavia found Tina's stuff in the attic. I keep telling her that she should give up on this stupid dream to be like her mother. I lost her out in the field... I can't lose my only child like her mother before her!"

The girl gasps from the other side of the door. Her ear listens close as she hears the British man with his smooth accent talking to her father.

"Henry... You know you can't keep her here forever... I see her mother in her everytime I see her and she's progressing well with hamon. I've seen it every time she's by herself. Your wife saw to it that her name is to be in the foundation. She's a Zeppeli....Your wife knew that....Why can't you?"

There was silence between the two men and then she hears a sigh from her father. She hears footsteps coming to the door as she quickly tiptoes to her desk and pulls out a book and opens it to a random chapter.

Knock. knock.

"State your name and business please!"

She hears chuckling from behind the door.

"It's Joseph, little Via. I need to talk to you."

She goes over to the door and hesitates to open the door and she finally turns the knob to see the oldest Joestar. Joseph fought with her grandfather's side by side and avenged her relative's death against the pillar men. She's heard the stories from her father as a child on how brave her ancestor was. He walks in and sits on her bed and pats next to him for her to sit.

"Did you hear us, little eavesdropper?"

Her face turns red with embarrassment as she sits next to him. He laughs it off and pats her back gently. He smiles softly as he looks into her eyes. He studies her every feature. Her bouncy dark curly hair, her green like eyes glisten in the light. She got her mother's features like her freckles but the hair color belonged to her father, Henry Zeppeli.

"I know how much you've always wanted to visit the world and have your own expeditions like a real archeologist, I am right, Yes?"

She nods silently. She caresses her fingers as he looks down at how nervous she was.

"I know about your hamon skills, Octavia. You're progressing very well. But this is something very important besides your hamon training."

"Okay..."

He sighs but looks over at her and smiles.

"Pack your bags, little Via. You're coming with me so you can get started on your work."

Her eyes widened with surprise. She jumps back on her feet.

"You're not playing a joke on me, are you, Joestar?"

He shakes his head and smiles brightly at her.

"I asked your father for you to come with me to get you started in the Speedwagon foundation. You can graduate early and start your career early too. I know it's a lot on a child like you but I promised him I'd look out for you. You're in the system to begin and I know you're a smart girl and I need someone like you out on the field. What do you say?"

She waits for him to finish speaking.

"It's always been a dream of mine to go out into the world, Mr. Joestar. I can't hold back now...and I'm only 12!"

He laughs and smacks his knee.

"Oh Octavia... I was young like you and was just as adventurous in life and spirit. I traveled throughout the world and I want you to have that experience when you go out there."
