The Lost Zeppeli (Jotaro Kujo x OC)

Chapter 21

The last of the crusaders make their way as far enough as possible to the streets of Cairo. Joseph looks at Octavia and asks her about Dio's stand.

"I've seen it, Joseph. It's powerful that even I couldn't stand to be near it."

"Do you know what it can do yet? What his strength can make him do that thing earlier?"

She shakes her head.

"I'm sorry I don't know, godfather. I wish I knew. He never really said of what it can do."

Joseph rubbed his chin slightly before
looking up at everyone.

"We need to act soon. We'll split up into pairs and try to snuff Dio out, alright?" 

"And if it doesn't work, Joseph?"

He sighs, they all knew the answer but went with the idea. It would only be a matter of minutes for them to be separated. Before they say their goodbyes and good lucks, Jotaro takes Octavia by the arm into a nearby alleyway. He hugs her tight, she couldn't remember a time where they actually hugged in a long while.

"I just want you to be careful, do you understand? No reckless bullshitting."

She giggles, she missed his delinquency.

"I can't promise and you know that."

He pulls away to see her fully. Her beautiful italiano features. Then that's when it hit him. The words she wrote down for him.

"In your letter. What did it say at the bottom?"

"What?"

She tries remembering what she had wrote. Just before she could think of it, he pulls out then note. She blushes instantly.

"You kept it?"

He nods and unfolds his hand to her and to her surprise, her necklace she left him.

"I kept it so that once I find you, you'd tell me what these words meant."

She looks at the bottom and looks back up at him. She smiles softly. All this time, he's had this plan to find out the words she wrote from her heart. She leans into him and kisses his lips softly. She barely pulls away for him to say it.

"Te amo, Jojo."

In his mind, he finally knew what she meant. He doesn't hold back, as he takes her in his arms and pushes his lips into hers. They claw for each other, not wanting to let go. That's when Joseph yells for them. They pull away to catch their breaths while they stare into each other's eyes. He would do everything in his power to protect her no matter how stubborn she was.

"Hey! Are you two ready?"

Joseph yells, seeing them extremely flustered as they slowly pull apart. They both headed out the alleyway. Joseph stops Via before exiting.

"It's about time."

She rolls her eyes as they all spilt off in pairs. As her and Jotaro run down the streets of Cairo. She felt it. The gaze she's been feeling. Her head hurts to the feel. A hand touches her shoulder, But there's no one there. She knew it to be true. It was almost time for her future to take place.

"You okay? What's wrong?"

She looks up at Jotaro and looks back. That certain feeling that you get when you know something was wrong.

"Just keep going, Jotaro. Joseph and Kakyoin is in trouble."

He takes her hand and puts two things that were cold and hard.

"I'll come for you."

She nods and runs the opposite direction towards where her feeling was making her go. She opens the palm of her hand to see it, her necklace and the Eye of Ra pin she saw in the market days before. Her heart began doing flips but she didn't have time for that. Her friends we're in trouble. It was a night of life or death for everyone. Not just for the crusaders but for the entire human race. Who knows what would happen if Dio were to succeed tonight.  From a distance she saw something standing on a dome shaped building as she then witnessed what looked to be a glowing green web. Her eyes widened as she realized that Dio must've been caught in Hierophant Green's 20 meter range. She watches as they talk before a billboard near them crashes to the ground, probably from an earlier attack as Kakyoin fires his Emerald Splash, sending them to Dio from all sides. Her eyes widen as something goes flying back in the air as it hits a water tower. She yells out, seeing one of her friends, dying in a broken water tower.
