Chapter 12

"Um Joseph, are you sure it's wise to let Polnareff drive? Does he even have a license? Why not let me drive?"

Joseph looks over at the young girl.

"Because you haven't been getting enough sleep lately and I've noticed. I know you have yours but what you need is rest."

She sighs as she crosses her arms and looks over through the window and eyeballs Kakyoin and Jotaro. Joseph looks over to where she was looking. He smiles softly and nudges her softly, making her look up at him. He winks at her as she knew what he was implying.

"Really Joseph?"

He chuckles as he sees her flustered face. She calms down and she thought about what happened early that morning, she needed to tell Joseph about her stands' ability.

"There's a reason I haven't slept any, Joseph."

He pats her shoulder softly.

"You can tell me anything, Little Via."

Kakyoin and Jotaro kept watch outside. Jotaro lits a cigarette as Kakyoin looks through the window barely to see Octavia talking with Joseph.

"What do you think of Octavia, Jojo?"

Jotaro exhales the smoke from his parted lips and glances over at him.

"What about her?"

"Well, I mean.... She's our age. I was just thinking since she's sweet, kind, smart and well..... She's beautiful. You think she has someone waiting for her?"

Jotaro glances over through the window at her with a serious look on her face.

"Besides her dad, I don't think so."

"What makes you say that?"

Jotaro inhales his smoke and looks at Kakyoin with his serious demeanor.

"She seems to put her work before anything, before she got tangled in this mess. She doesn't talk about anyone serious in her life."

Kakyoin looks confused for a second as he glances towards her and back at Jotaro.

"Then, what about the letters?"

"What letters?"

"The letters that everytime we arrive somewhere and before we leave, she's always trying to find a mailbox and always put a letter in it, everywhere we go. You haven't noticed that?"

Jotaro exhales the smoke as he looks over and sees a mail box. He remembered when they arrived at the dealership, she dropped two letters in it earlier.

"Good grief.....We can check if you're just going to keep wondering about it."

Kakyoin looks over and pulls out Hierophant Green as it slithers inside and finds them as it pulls out letters with her name on them. His stand takes them out and hurries back to Kakyoin. He looks at the letters thoroughly, careful to not open or damage it.

"It's to a Henry Zeppeli and........your mom."

His eyes widened slightly. He guesses she was keeping track of where they were and that they were safe. That's probably the reason for Octavia to be sending letters to his mother. He gives it back to Kakyoin.

"Better put them back, we don't want them to not be sent to them then."

Kakyoin nods and sends his stand to put the letters back. Just as he had retracted his stand, the others came out with the Jeep. Joseph yells to them to hop in as they head on out. Joseph sat in the front while Jotaro, Octavia and kakyoin sat in the back, squished together. Octavia had her walkman playing with her earphones on while she's squished in the middle between Jotaro and kakyoin. Kakyoin's cheeks were tinted pink the entire ride. Jotaro kept a gaze on him. He couldn't help but feel.....threatened? Yeah threatened. His gaze looks over to her as she mumbles the lyrics to the song she was listening to. He taps her shoulder as she looks up at him. He points to his ear, she takes off her earphones and puts them on his head. His cheeks blush slightly as the song Your Love by The Outfield was blasting through them.
