I see a lot of people trying to make covers, and still having a bit of trouble, so I wanted to add some more tips.
First, you do not need to use full body pictures. This is just tacky as hell, lmaoooo. Try to use pictures that are waist up only or just face shots.
Here's an example of a full body cover :
To be honest, you can kinddddd of get away with it. But y'all be having the characters real small instead of taking up the full cover. You don't want your cover to be empty.
So use waist up pictures, and take up as much space as possible without it looking cluttered. An example :
Next, fonts. A bad font will really fuck up your cover. Like realllly fuck it up. Here's an example of a bad font on a good cover :
Y'all that shit is ugly. Please experiment with more fonts than that same ass basic serif font. Go to dafont.com and choose one of their multiple themes that'll match your cover. Then enter your title name on the 'preview' line to see how it'll look.

And finally, be okay with making mistakes. My covers used to be ugly as hell. It definitely takes time to make a good one. Don't be so hard on yourself, and don't be afraid to reach out for help lmao.
