       Prologue

Today I was sitting on my office chair,

'' I was standing in the inside of my office reading the morning paper, the report read as it did,

' Officer had caught the rat bandit he was caught sneaking inside a house trying to rob a man in his thirties shoes, a man hunt was made and chase ensued for the young bandit, the chase lasted for three hours and the man would be caught after he was cornered trying to hide inside another open house''.

I chuckled at the report, all honesty it reminded today the police department had arrested anther robber who was trying to steal the national bank, I smiled, it has been days since I was put in charge of that case, I laid back on my seat happily content, ' I can't believe how far I had gone, I said to myself, how did I get all the way here, I would remember all the hardships, all the people I had met, my friends and my family, who encouraged me to get here at this very moment, speaking of, I went through my cabinet, where I had all the papers stacked on top of each other.

I reached on the first top stack, as I did this one of the blood hounds that we had around here walked over to my hand, he was one of the detectives dogs and he decided to nuzzle it's nose on me which might have been his way of saying hello to me, my response was to pet it on the ears, where I knew he liked to be scratched the most

They were all letters that were mailed from all the way back home, each were sent from my parents and my siblings to cherish them each.

One of the cards that I opened was sent to me by one of my friends, it was red with small pebbles glued to it formed in a triangle, the name was addressed to me by a drawing of a tiny doll alongside a familiar name on the side of the side of it,.

' Gwess'.

I smiled warmly, ' Gwess, the name made me content upon hearing it again, she was an old friend of mine, I vaguely remember how I told her to write me every time she gets a chance, she would always be the quirkiest friend I ever had back then, I still remember her silly green hat that she always wore each time I saw her at my Dojo school every day I would always see her each day there, she would be the first person who was there, she would never be very serious person, she was one of the funnier people that attended the place, she would also be the first one that moved from home long ago, I would remember being saddened when I would learn of her moving from home, I was saddened when learning of her leaving home.

It was also what got me considering to officially move as well, I would learn to cherish the work of the place I was living at I was very happy in the place i live right now, 'how are you feeling today squirt, she asked, I could hear from the other line the sound of men and women talking over her.

'fine, I replied, 'just got to my working place, I glanced over to my shoulder to see a photo of my graduation suit, 'what about you, I haven't spoken to you in a while.

I have been busy, she said back, 'just got this new gig where they are allowing me  use my piece more in the open.

My uniform consisted of a brown leather coat, a white shirt, a clip on tie, a brown set of jeans, and a blue cap on my head, on my left pocket I had my strapped baton, on my other pocket I had on a holster with it my gun was in, I took it out to look at it close up, the gun had generally brought couple of memories from back a while ago, I remember the many different adventures that I had back in Arizona, more memories of my time there would come back to me, my mind would still be carved with each traumatic experience that I spent there, I would never forget any of the faces that I had seen back then and I would continue to carry now.
