Today was Monday.
I woke up early as I could and got off from bed, I did my usual morning get together and started to head out with my brother we both wandered up to our school when suddenly a man was coming in announcing that he was going to be taking five of us out to the library, my mind soon remembered that that faithful art exhibit was today before long we were all walking out of the building and followed the man who was put in charge of insuring we headed over there safely, alongside me was my friend George, he had also signed in already for the chance to try and socialize with more people, on our way to the library we both started conversing a little over the differences of our cultures nature, when we finally arrived I spotted a bus that was on the opening for the library, before us was a big marble wall, there were some adults there that were using chalk to outline some of the walls drawings which I assume was to give us an assignment on what to paint, George and I both walked right in alongside the three other classmates.
Welcome children,' before us came a young yet elderly looking lady, she had Grey ish light hair, wore a pair of spectacles, had a kind smile and had on a purple looking dress.
She presented herself as Cecilia and she was one of the people in charge of giving us a fine depth of art and how to appreciate it, before we could start she first started to explain us the origin of the library, of our town and our village and why it is so important to our people's history, she explained that long ago her mother was a fine resident of this town, everything was different back then, when she was young her mother had to witness the hardships our people did to ourselves when civil rights were still being established, she explained that once she had witnessed a man tie a lasso around a woman and as sport dragged her by the waist as he rode her horse while the crowd cheered, from what I could understand this was a sporting event that they did all those centuries ago, her mother would grow up working her best to change the attitude of our town, she would participate in events and tournaments that were meant to give the town a message to try and bring all our people together.
Cecilia then revealed that she had continued her mothers adventurous personality, she had apparently traveled from almost across the world when she was twenty one, she went to Europe, Wisconsin, New York, Costa Rica, Bolivia and many more to name from, and each adventure she had gave her a whole new meaning in life.
She then told each of us that we also have a journey for ourselves, a journey we could all try and accomplish if we like her put our hearts and minds to it, she asked us to think of becoming what we want to become most when we grow up and expand on it, the more I listened the more anxious I felt getting, this was all too much for me, to me it felt like this kind woman was talking to me and my dreams, not to mention that she had traveled to all those places, was this a sign, was god trying to tell me something here.
Once she was finished we were brought inside the library to keep in our backpacks, I however took out my drawing chalk and took it with me, then we were taken back outside where we would meet with a elder man named Juan, he explained to them that he had once fought in a army and retired at the rightly age, he started telling us all of the species and creatures of animals that inhabit our planet, he told us about the tiger, the horse, the leopard and any other animal that were walking on this earth for years, and said that we must do our best to take care of each of these creatures so that they can continue living on and said that we are giving people the message for that by attending this event.
While we were being tutored a group of teenagers were coming out of another bus that had just arrived, they were all to my pleasant surprise young foreign exchange students from America, all of them were arriving here to stay for a couple of months to learn our country language, one was a girl with blonde hair, had a white shirt, green jeans and had a cute dot on her cheek, the others were all boys, one was the youngest, he wore a long sleeve coat, had puffy brown hair, and had mountain boots.
