Memorizing (killua x black reader)

Chapter 8

Tuesday morning at 12:06

After putting away your things you left for lunch, but still no sign of killua.

Though on your way to lunch you met up with kurapika "Y/n its been some time since i talked to you" he said giving you a warm smile.

"Yeah i was gonna text you but i had alot to do, but how you been?" you asked.

"I've been fine, i just can't get rid of what that idiot did yesterday" you could tell he was still upset at what happen by the way his eyes slightly grew red.

"Well i haven't seen him today so don't worry as much" you slightly lied.

Though you didn't see killua in 3rd period you felt that you'd see him soon enough, and to keep from another fight happening you'd have to keep them away from eachother.

As soon as the two of you got to the lunch room you met up with gon and leorio. "Hey, y/n did you finish the math assignment from Mr. Z class?" gon asked.

"What homework assignments?" you scrunched up your face.

"It was on the board" he said sounding disappointed.

"Don't be disappointed in me, you didn't do the assignment either" you told him, which made kurapika chuckle.

After a few minutes of you talking the three boys left to go get lunch and you were left alone with your thoughts.

Until you saw killua coming twoards you again. "Hey y/n" killua greeted you as he sat down, softly grabbing onto your hand.

"Hey" you said before looking over to see kurapika and the others coming back.

Before killua could speak you interrupted him "Killua can you go get me some lunch my legs are kinda hurting" you asked trying to not seem in a hurry.

"Alright but i need to ask you something  when i come back" he said before he left.

As he left the three boys came right back and it seemed like leorio was fighting over someone with kurapika again.

"Y/n tell kurapika i would obviously beat him in a race while holding someone" leorio randomly included you in the conversation.

"Why are yall fighting over stupid things" you asked.

"Because it matters?!" gon and leorio said at the same time.

"Kurapika are you really going through with this?" you raised an eyebrow at him.

"Yeah, might as well show them" he smirked at you.

"Gon get on my back we're gonna win this" leorio spoke with confidence, as gon hopped onto his back.

"Y/n may you please participate in this?" he asked politely, which made you complie.

You then made your way onto kurapika's back, leorio and kurapika would do one lap around the cafeteria to see who would win.

A random person came start the race as others sat at there tables and watched.

"Ready--Set--Go!" the npc said as the two boys raced around the cafeteria.

You had forgotten all about killua at this point and it'd soon come to bite you  in the ass.

Some folks in the cafeteria cheered on for your team while others cheered for Leorio and gon's.

Leorio was doing pretty good until he he started to fall back "C'mon leorio you got this" gon tried to cheer him on.

Though leorio tried speed up he soonly slipped on a pizza that was dropped onto the floor by someone. The team fell to the ground leaving you and kurapika to win.
