Throughout the chapters, Mia is showing her growth from letting go of her past and looking into her future. I'm sure you all thought she was going to end up with Lucas given that's the love story the story was fixated on, but I had other plans 😏
Another fun fact: this story is actually very similar to my experiences. I also had a boyfriend (if I could even call him that) in high school who lead me on and most likely cheated on me. This is where I got my inspiration from. Then I met my current boyfriend on a family friend vacation and we've been dating for a little over three years ☺️
I wasn't hung up on my "ex" nearly as much as Mia, but everything about Mia and Zac comes very close to how my boyfriend and I are now. We've been living together in an apartment for a year now haha 😇
Not only did I get to share some of my story indirectly with you guys, but I also was able to teach you a lesson. If a guy/girl/lover treats you like shit, DON'T stay with them. As hard as it is to break away, it will be for the better. Toxic relationships are a serious no no☝🏼 And boys/girls/lovers that lead you on... ADIOS! 👋🏼 As difficult as it is to say and you probably don't want to hear, they are probably playing with you. And not in the sexual way🙄 (although, maybe they are)🤔, but an emotional and mental way. If they want you, they would've done something about it earlier. 95% of the time, there are no excuses😤
