You and Steve woke up early the next morning. You groaned and covered your eyes as he opened the curtains, revealing bright warm sunlight.

"Alright, come on. Wakey Wakey, y/n." Steve mocked sarcastically. You reached for a nearby pillow and flung it towards him. Steve leaned to the right as the airborne pillow flew passed him and into the wall behind. "Someone is clearly not a morning person." He chuckled. You continued to lay in bed in agony and pouted like a little kid.

"That was not a kind way to be woken up." You whined. Steve shook his head, still laughing.

"I am so sorry, your highness. But I could have woken you up in many other worse ways." You rolled your eyes at him. "I am going to be downstairs if you have any more requests, your majesty." Steve disappeared out the bedroom door and down the hall. You let out a long irritated sigh before propping yourself up to leave the bed. You followed Steves's path downstairs and were hit with a strong aroma of your f/f cooking in the kitchen.

"And all of a sudden, I have a big appetite." You stated as you rushed down the staircase and into the big kitchen. Steve turned around and smiled at you.

"Good, because I accidentally made too much for just the two of us." The two of you sat at the kitchen island and scarfed down breakfast. Who knew that Steve Harrington was such a good cook, You thought. You and Steve then started to get ready to prep for the first part of your plan. Strapped into Steves's car, you guys took off down his driveway to go back to Dustin's.

On the way to Dustin's, you grabbed an unhealthy amount of packaged meats from the supermarket while Steve filled up a couple gas cans. When you checked out, the lady behind the cash register shot you a judgey look, but you didn't blame her. Anyone would have looked at you and Steve like you were crazy if they saw the things you were buying. You loaded the trunk up with the meats and gasoline when Steve let out a breathy sigh.

"I thought this whole other dimension shit was over." He stated as he leaned against the side of the car. He observed the surrounding area sternly. "But apparently, there's always something going on in Hawkins now." You closed the trunk to join Steve.

"In California, there were always things going on. I used to get up every morning to surf whenever I could. And don't get me started on the crime too, it was awful, honestly. Moving to Hawkins was a big change so I guess I don't really understand the quiet, "nothing happens around here" small-town life. When I heard the whole alternate dimension stuff, I actually thought it was some crack story at first." You admitted while letting out a small chuckle. You glanced back over at Steve, who was still staring off into the distance.

"I mean, yeah, this town so small. Everyone knows everyone. So something like a missing boy will really shake this town up. If all this information about the Hawkins lab got out it would be an even bigger mess. I guess I'm just wondering why here? Why did it have to all go down in a small town like Hawkins where everything was perfectly fine?" He let out a long sigh. You tried your best to put yourself in his shoes. Imagine having a good normal life and not having doubt about your safety until one day, that's all turned upside down. Steve looked down at his watch and immediately rushed to the driver's side door. "Oh wow, it's already 11. We better get going now or we won't have enough time." You followed after him and hopped in the passenger seat of his BMW.

You guys finally made it to Dustin's and went straight to work. You were free to use the kitchen since his mom was at work, so you spent a while cutting up the raw meat into little chunks and throwing them into the buckets. Once you were finished, you carried the buckets back outside. One for all three of you. Steve was taking the gas cans out of the truck as he situated everything you guys needed. You continued to walk up towards them and Dustin reached his hand out to give you a pair of yellow rubber gloves.
