The air in the room was heavy with frustration and tension. The elders, once confident in their power, now found themselves desperately trying to fix the mess they had created.
Years of mistakes, manipulation, and misguided decisions had brought them here, and now, they had to make it right.
He whined.
"What? Maganda naman talaga 'yong bata natin ah."
"Oo nga. She's pretty." Segunda ni Violeta, "Has anyone seen the elixir I've been refining? I need to give it to her."
"Excuse me, beh.
She smiled.
"Enough with the chitchats. We need to know how we can rescue the other Jedens."
And they began working on a plan. A plan where they don't need to hurt or sacrifice anyone just for it to be successful. They've learned their lesson and as much as possible, iniiwasan na nila ulit mangyari 'yon.
"How do we infiltrate the place?" Signia asked.
"Infiltrate?! I love that!" Napapalakpak pa si Violeta.
"Hala, ano 'yon?" Inosenteng ani Denrich.
"Oh gods.
"Please, let's be serious for once. We don't have enough time."
"K. Sorry."
Just beneath the academy lies the stone-cold hills na iniiwasan ng mga tao. Wala silang mahihithit kaya't wala ring nagtatangkang sumilip doon.
A perfect place for the witches to hide the Jedens.
"What's the estimate time for Amara to find them?" Esme asked Cosmos.
"I'm not sure, but it's definitely not nearby," Cosmos replied, shaking her head. Esme nodded and began outlining their strategy, using the surrounding areas to their advantage.
"Since our people often visit Halo's Tears to gather mallora, we can use that as cover," Esme said, tracing her finger along the map to highlight potential routes to the academy.
"We'll block all other paths until we have no choice but to go through the hills," she added, her voice calm and calculated. "The witches will track our schedule—when we leave for supplies and when there are disruptions."
