Matteo went to my room and woke me up since it's time for dinner and Katrina is already there. Walking downstairs hearing them all talking. I take my sit beside Katrina and Matteo.
"Oh Aurora, here's the papers." Katrina spoke, handing me the brown envelope. I thank her then put the envelope beside me. We all ate our dinner casually, Antonio keeps his gaze on me which makes me feel so irritated.
"Aurora, isn't your birthday coming? What's the plan?" Katrina suddenly mention. Oh god, my birthday is coming. I hate my birthday, it's just a wasteful day of ny life. I don't even celebrate it since then.
"Oh yes, can we go to Hawaii? That would be great!" Khalil suggested.
And they all started talking like there's no tomorrow."The Philippines must be nice." Someone said
"No! I think Dubai is more fun!"
Someone argue."Can you all please stop. It's Aurora's birthday so she should be the one who's going to decide." Antonio spoke, making them all stop. Pointing towards me, he signals that I should say something so I did.
"I'm not celebrating my birthday, I think y'all should focus on something else, something that is more important as of the moment." I said. I don't think it's very necessary to celebrate it, knowing that there's something that they all should focus on. I don't like to be a burden.
"Don't be such a kill joy." James jokingly said. It earned a bit of laughter but then everyone went silent.
"It's okay, that's her choice. In fact she's right, we should just put ourselves to our current situation. I'll see y'all in the conference room later, be quick." He spoke, standing up and Tyrone also followed him. They both left the room and we all continue eating.
After some time, everyone except me and Katrina went to the conference room as Antonio said so. We both sat on the couch while watching the television. I open the envelope and look through it. Seeing some things that would be very useful.
There's the exact location of their hideout. Meaning it'll be easier for Antonio to get everything he wanted and most important thing is to know whoever is behind that 'the dragon' thingy. Other than that there's nothing that is more useful.
"Thanks for this Katrina, it will help a lot." I spoke. She then gets the remote and turns off the tv, turning towards me.
"Anything for you. As I was saying this morning, you really love him. And don't you dare to deny it." She spoke.
"I'll say it, but don't you dare say it to anyone about it." I warned. Katrina nods and gesture me to talk more.
"I'm very confused about what I feel. Sometimes he's loving sometimes he's just the most asshole person ever. It's confusing to the point that I do things that I shouldn't. Like this." I said holding the envelope. She then laughed making me feel so embarrassed.
"See, the confusion is all part of it Aurora. You do love him and so he did. Give it a chance. He's a very great man even if he's such an arrogant asshole." She said.
"We'll see." I said, laughing. I get up and get the envelope. Walking towards the conference room where they all gathered around discussing. Everyone stopped seeing me. I walked towards him as he stood there frozen. I handed him the envelope and sat on the chair.
"What is this?" He asks. Nodding, he then open the envelope and read through it.
"Where did you get this?" He asks once again.
"It's from Katrina." I spoke, standing up and walking out of the room.
3 weeks passed..
"So he didn't even thank you for helping him? How rude of him." Katrina said, confused. Well I'm more confused to know how he just stand there. I couldn't even read what was going through his head.
