San: For now on, I won't leave your side, princess, I'll protect you.

Hanah: it sounds weird.

San: I'm being nice.

Hanah: I've never heard you be nice before, it sounds weird.

She got up and went to the bathroom. The two were having a calm conversation. Trying to build a friendship. Once she came out. She had her sleeping clothes on.

Hanah: Do you wanna stay the night?

San nodded.

Hanah: I'll show you to the guest room then.

San shook his head.

San: no.

Hanah: Huh?

San: I wasn't lying when I said I won't leave your side.

Hanah: your weird dude.

Hanah gave him a side eye. But she agreed with his decision.

Hanah: you'll be sleeping on the floor though.

San: fine by me, I'm used to it.

Hanah hesitated now, Used to It? She felt guilty saying that.

Hanah: fine you can sleep on the bed.

San: ok.

Hanah: here are some clothes you can change into.

San: are these Wooyoung's?

Hanah: No, they're from my Ex. You can have them I don't have anyone to give them to.

San: oh, thanks.

Hanah: your welcome.

San: They're big.

Hanah: He was tall, his name is Soobin.

San: did he cheat on you?

Hanah: No, it wasn't working out between us, and he had to leave abroad.

San: at least you two separated in good terms. Mine cheated.

Hanah: They did?

San: Mhm, I found her at club making out with another guy.

Hanah: woow

San: The worst part was, she was completely sober. She ghosted me after.

Hanah: Are you over her?

San: definitely. She left me, a perfect man, over a piece of trash.

Hanah: mhm mhm

Hanah nodded supporting San's confidence.

San: guess what happened after?

Hanah: after reading a lot of books, I'm guessing the trash cheated on her.

San: WOah, Bingo.

San clapped with a satisfied facial expression.

Hanah: did she come running back to you?

San: Another Bingo? You're good at this. She came running back to me, saying she wanted me back.

Hanah: the real question is. Did you take her back?

San: No. She got a taste of her own medicine.

Hanah: as she should.

They had more conversations filled with sarcasm and laughter. They got close. The two also found they had a lot in common.

San: After all that, I don't care. I have someone to take care of.

San sat on her bed looking down at his hands. Hanah realized who he was talking about and sat next to him. Gently placing her hands on top of his, reassuring him.

Hanah: take good care of him.

San looked at her, and on response Hanah smiled. San was never faced with such kindness in someone. His eyes became teary.

San: thank you.

He wrapped his hands around her shoulders pulling her closer, hugging her.

San: thank you so much.

Hanah quickly realized that he was crying on her shoulder. After a month of arguing with San, the two finally broke the wall between them. Blooming flowers of friendship. Hanah hugged him back patting his back trying to sooth him, and calm him down.

After a few minutes of San crying and Hanah stroking his hair, he fell asleep. He cried himself to sleep.

Hanah sighed in relief. His head was resting on her shoulder, while his hands were wrapped around her waist.

Hanah: Alexa, turn off the lights.

Hanah whispered to her electronic assistant. Soon after the lights inside the room turned off. Hanah sighed again, just not of relief, but of the challenge. She pulled the covers of the bed and pulled it towards her and sleeping San. Gently laying San down on the pillows.

San: Shi-ber

Hanah: Shiber? What's that?

While thinking who or what Shiber could be. San pulled Hanah close to him hugging her close.

San: Shiber~

Hanah look at him he was smiling in his sleep. "So he sleeps hugging something" Hanah thought whole looking at San.

She looked around and saw her cat. It was a stuffed animal, she never named it, so she just called it Cat. Hanah wiggled herself reaching for her cat. Sadly she couldn't reach. So she layed next to San. His limbs were wrapped around her. She stayed there for about an hour until San changed position. She was loose, Hanah reached for her cat finally able to reach it.

Hanah gently, quietly, quickly, swiftly, slithered away from San's grasp. Reaching freedom. She rolled over reaching the other side of the bed. She looked at the clock reading 2 am.

She stood up and went to San's side covering him with a blanket. After finally being done with that, hanah stretched her back. She quietly laid on the floor beside the bed and covered herself in a blanket. She had a comforter making it soft to lay on the floor. Her favorite pillow made it more comfortable. Hanah debated if she liked sleeping on the floor better then sleeping on her bed. That debate ended with her feeling asleep.

It was now seven in the morning and the first one to wake up was Hanah.

Hanah: sleeping on the floor felt good.

She did some small stretching and got up from the floor. Hanah started to fold the blankets she was using and put away the pillows. Afterwards she went into her bathroom and did her morning routine. While she was drying her hair she stepped out of the bathroom to see San slowly waking up.

San opened his eyes seeing the unfamiliar surroundings. He looking at what was in his hands and noticed it wasn't his little Shiba Inu, Shiber. San gasped at the scene.

San: I cheated on Shiber. I'm sorry.

San pushed the stuffed cat away from In a regretful way. In silence Hanah watched the whole scene. Eventually San's eyes found Hanah's.

Hanah: I'm guessing Shiber is a stuffed animal?

San nodded laying back down.

Hanah: sleep well?

San: It was alright.

Hanah: good to hear.
