San: please don't ever do that again.
Hanah: Don't ever leave.
San: What did you want me to do, I got fired. Plus your dad seemed like if he saw me again he would've killed me.
Hanah: My father? Never, he's too soft hearted. He'll come back to his senses, just give him some time.
San: Are you serious though?
Hanah: about hiring you as my body gaurd? Absolutely.
San: Than I'll take it.
Hanah: Same rules apply, you must follow all my orders, and you will protect me from any harm. You must keep your promise.
San: understood, my lady.
He bowed his head showing respect.
Hanah: Use another nickname. Yunho already calls me that.
San: hm.
Dad: Hanah!
Hanah's dad ran towards then worried.
Dad: I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you. I'll do anything you want!
Hanah: Don't act like that, especially I'm public. I just want you to treat me like your daughter, that's it.
Dad: Okay, now that I know your okay. I'll let everyone know you're awake.
Hanah: Thank you.
Nurse: Um, exuse me, please put Miss. Lee back in bed, her wound is still considered open.
Hanah: Oh shi- my bad. Let's go Sannie.
San: You got it.
San rushed to get her to bed. After laying her down two nurses help get her comfortable.
Nurse: How are you feeling.
Hanah: I'm feeling great.
Nurse: Can you rate the pain on a scale of one to ten?
Hanah: around an eight.
Nurse: alright. I'll be back for breakfast.
Hanah: Thank you
The Nurse bowed and so did Hannah. San sat down next to her bed on a couch in front of a window. He looked outside a bit worried.
Hanah: Go visit your brother.
San: what?
Hanah: he's at this hospital, am I right? You should go visit him.
San: okay. I'll be back later.
Hanah: Take your time.
...
Yeji: Is there anything you want me to bring you?
Hanah: No, I'm fine. I really like the quiet I get.
Wendy: That women was put in jail and got scolded by her father. In public, I can just imagine how relieved you feel.
Hanah: I do, I finally feel at ease.
Yeji: You should get some rest. We'll be back tomorrow.
Hanah: alright, you guys take care.
Yeji: you too.
Wendy: make sure you eat.
Hanah: I will.
The two left the girl alone. With a remote she turned off the lights, she was laying in the darkness looking outside the window. She could see the sun's last shard of light before disappearing into the horizon. She closed her eyes enjoying the silence. The stars were out.
How many days have passed. Three maybe, she lost count.
San: it's been five days and your wounds are considered closed, why are you still here?
Hanah jumped a bit and looked besides her seeing the Choi San standing next to her bed.
Hanah: Please knock next time.
San: Okay, but still. You should be at home by now.
Hanah: I'm still recovering. My body needs to get used to running by itself again.
She pushed his forehead back with her finger while laughing.
Hanah: I wish it was that simple. If only life worked like that.
She looked back outside seeing the stars.
San: like what.
Hanah: People need to recover Physically, Mentally, and Emotionally. And sometimes Spiritually. There's a lot that needs to recover. But if the world only worked physically, I would be at home. Moving on with life.
San: if it was just Physical, than what's the point of living?
She snapped her head back at him, he was sitting on a chair with his hands cupped holding his head.
San: Humans are known to bear massive amounts of emotion. That's was makes us human, doesn't it?
Hanah: That's true. Thank you.
San: No worries.
The silence fell again, but it was conformable. Hanah felt something, everytime San was anywhere near her, she felt her heart being squeezed. She's never felt it before, not even with her Ex. So it got her wondering.
Hanah: San?
San: hm.
He looked at her, the moonlight lit up the room.
Hanah: How do you feel when you love someone?
San: Me?
She nodded.
San: I feel happy around them, they make me feel like I can do anything with them by my side. My heart feels like it's about to burst. Like It's being squeezed.
San and Hanah would talk about the weirdest things sometimes, so San didn't hesitate with his answer. The two felt silence, untill Hanah spoke again.
Hanah: Can you kiss me?
San's head popped up, she could see it, but San was blushing at the sudden question.
San: You want me, to kiss you?
She nodded. Her whole face showed uncertainty. He didn't know what to feel. "Kiss her" was what he kept thinking.
Hanah: It's an order.
San was stunned. Did she herself know what she was doing? Did she know the effects that it out on their relationship? No she didn't, she just wanted to know why it hurt so much. Why did it hurt to San cry in the middle of the night, why it hurt to see him alone staring out the window.
San didn't have a choice but to follow her orders. San came to her trying to close the gap. The two inched closer, only the light of the moon was the only light source.
She looked at his eyes. They were glistening. The stars in his eyes. The feeling came again. Her heart started beating faster.
San couldn't help but to feel the same thing. The closer her got the more rapidly his heart would race. Everytime their skin would come into contact, his heart would race. He looked deep into her eyes. Seeing the stars in her eyes, he gulped getting nervous.
He closed his eyes closing the gap between them. He flet his lips touch something. He immediately opened his eyes to only see Hannah's hand in front of him. She blocked it.
Hanah: I'm sorry, I didn't realize what I was saying. If I ordered you to kiss me it wouldn't make me anymore different than the others.
San was shocked at her response, she remembered. Months ago they had a a conversation about how he was treated. He smiled, he was greatful.
San: Don't compare yourself to others.
He lowered her hand.
San: You started it now you have to finish it.
Hanah only saw a glimpse of his mischievous smile before their lips touched. She closed her eyes enjoying the touch. And so did he.
