"Aye, don't bring out no more bullshit ass dancers. I need two more girls by tomorrow or I'm screwed. I can't miss this opportunity man. " Chris exclaimed as the last group of dancers entered the stage. Every dancer had to perform a self choreographed ninety second routine.

"Chill out bro, Rahkim said he saved the best for last." It sounded like Braxton was trying to convince himself that more than he was trying to convince Chris.

"Yeah whatever man, let's just get this over with." Chris slouched with boredom in his seat.

"Dancer 205, you're up Shawty." Rahkim called over the microphone.

Dance For You by Beyoncé begins to blast through the speakers as Essence walked to the "X" on the stage. She takes a deep breath and begins to immediately lose herself in the music. She danced gracefully as she imagined that she was Beyoncé herself in her own little music video. She pictured herself alone, with nothing but her speaker and camera. Her eyes closed as she used her body instrument to illustrate her meaning of the song.

Dancing was a way for her to feel free. She used dance as a way to communicate who she really was. What her mouth couldn't say, her body definitely could and she knew how to make others crave for more. Chris could not take his eyes off her. He could not shake the sense of familiarity with her. He's seen her somewhere but can't make out where. His heart immediately began to race. He completely forgot that others existed in that moment, all he saw was her. Her long and thick curls, her beautiful brown skin, her curvy hips, her full two toned lips. God, was she a sight to see. What intrigued him the most is that, she wasn't trying to throw herself at him. She was using her body to tell a story. A story that he never wanted to end. He knew in that moment that she was the one.

"That's enough. Thank you number 205. You can step off the X now." Essence was immediately brought back to reality. She quickly exited the stage and sat with the others.

Essence's POV
My heart pounded as I sat with the other girls that auditioned today. I sat and watched the remainder of the girls finish their routines.
"Alright ladies! We are going to take a thirty minute lunch break as Chris and his team make a decision. Olive Garden is being served two doors down. You have to have your meal voucher card and swipe it to get served. See you in thirty minutes ladies." I quickly walked to the room where the food is being served and grabbed a water and a cesar salad. I don't think heavy food would be a smart decision right now.

Jazlyn: How's it going bitchhh?👀
Me: I don't know. We will find out in 20 minutes. Wya?
Jazlyn: Still in the lobby. Keep me updated!🤍🫶🏾I can't wait for you to be Mrs. Brown.
Me: 🖕🏾
I shook my head as I locked my phone. That damn girl is a trip. "You were really good today." A soft voice said from behind. I turned around and smiled. I don't remember her performance. "Thank you babe! What group did you audition with?" I asked as I offered her a seat beside me. "I was in group 1. The suspense is killing me." I nodded. "Yeah, I agree. I wish you the best of luck." She smiled and nodded as she went to get her food.

What the hell did Jazlyn get me into? Don't get me wrong, I really like Chris Brown's music. But Jazlyn is the die hard fan. Not me. If anything, it deserves to go to someone that is devoted to him. Either way, it was a nice getaway. One that I needed terribly.

"Alright, ladies. Great news, Chris actually decided to pick two girls from this group! Does anyone have any concerns before we announce the winners?" Rahkim looked around for objections.

"Alright. I am going to turn it over to Chris now." Everyone gasped as Chris walked on stage.
"Wassup ladies. I just want to thank every last one of y'all for coming out today. I appreciate every last one of y'all and would love for you to come back for future auditions. You'll have a higher chance of making it next time. Now I am going to announce the two winners. The first winner is number 114 from group number two!" Everyone applauded and cheered as a petite hispanic girl ran on stage.
