Scarred Sunsets 【Douma x Reader x Genya】

【Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ１】

"Are you ready?" M!Y/N asked his sister. She nodded with determination. They both entered the exam dome as the sweet perfume of wisteria enveloped them. F!Y/N sneezed. She was a bit allergic to wisteria, ironically. Her brother looked at her smiling. He was sort of amused that she couldn't touch the one thing demons hated. When they were little, she'd accidentaly picked up a wistera blossom, and her hand had puffed up to twice it's size. He laughed, remembering that day. F!Y/N looked up at her brother, smiling though her puffy, red eyes.

"Sorry. I was just thinking about when you realized you were allergic" He said. F!Y/N giggled feebly. They headed over to the corner with the least wisteria. When they got there, F!Y/N got out her pills, and swallowed one. Her eyes slowly unpuffed, and soon they were normal. M!Y/N looked around, and saw a few people who stood out in the cround of black, grey and brown. A guy in a blue cloud haori, a girl in a pink kimono, and blonde boy in a gold haori covered in white Doritos.

"I'm gonna go look for the one's who look most likely to survive" M!Y/N said with a nod to his sister. She waved and sat down. As M!Y/N walked around looking from one side to the other, he didn't notice the guy in front of him. He accidentaly crashed sholdrs. The guy turned to look at M!Y/N with an expression of rage and hate intense enough to make M!Y/N uncomfortable.

"Sorry. I wasn't looking were I was going!" Apologized M!Y/N. The guy siezed M!Y/N's collar, and dangled him up in the air. Nearby spectators, turned to look at the ruckus. F!Y/N also turned, and saw her brother getting lifted up.

'Oh no. Please don't loose control, M!Y/N-nii!' She thought franticcaly while trying to get to her younger brother.

"Jeez, man! I already said sorry!" Snarled M!Y/N. The guy's face was a mask of hatered. He threw M!Y/N forwards, and he landed by his sister's feet. She bent down to grab him. The guy in the cloud haori grabbed the guy's hand before he could hit M!Y/N. Could boy held tightly enough so that the guy grimanced in pain.

"Stop it! Why would you do that!?" F!Y/N shouted. To everyone's shock exept M!Y/N, she went straight up to the guy and kneed his balls. Most of the boys watching grimanced. She then picked up the guy by the front of his shirt and punched him in the face. The crowd gasped. It almost turned into a full on brawl, it it had not been for the twins.

"Everyone" They said. The fight broke apart, they guy coming out worse than F!Y/N.

"We thank you for coming here tonight. To the Demon Slayers Corps Final Selection." The twins exclaimed.

"There are demons imprisoned here on Mt. Fujikasane captured alive by the Demon Slayer swordsmen, and unable to leave." the white haired twin said.

"That is because wisteria, which demons hate so much, blooms year-round from the bottom to halfway up the mountain." The black haired twin explained.

"However, there is no wisteria from this point on, and so demons are abound."

"You'll need to survive here for seven days to pass the Final Selection."

"And now, be on your way." They both exclaimed with a bow. M!Y/N went up to her sister and hugged her. Unlike almost always, she didn't push him away or hug him back. She just let him be. They went through the gate, heading east where the sun would rise first. To their dismay, the guy started following them.

"Great. We have to be stuck with HIM" M!Y/N rolled his eyes as F!Y/N giggled. They immediatly felt the guy's stare on them. Suddenly, a demon appeared out of the bushes, and went straight for M!Y/N.

"Water breathing, 1st form: Water surface slash!" Shouted M!Y/N. He unseathed his swords, and moved at a pace so fast that it was extremly difficult to even see him. He decapitated it in a blood splatter, and grinned. He was getting better. His sister got out her sword and hoop.

"You ready, sis?" He asked F!Y/N. She grinned.

"Yup. Gotta practice with real demons for once!" She laughed. M!Y/N looked happily at his older sister. It had been 4 years scince their parents had dissapeared, and F!Y/N had promised to look after her younger brother. M!Y/N crouched in front of the demon and snapped it's hand off. He took a large bite out of the hand before stuffing it into his pocket. Unknowing to either of the siblings, The guy had seen the entire thing. He looked shocked to see the idiot eat a demon.

"I though I was the only one able to eat demons... Seems like an interesting person, for sure" Genya grumbled to himself. He knew one thing. He needed to inform the Hashiras as soon as possible that another demon-eating human had appeared.

"I hate to say and think this, but to provide accurate information, I have to either follow them or join them..." He though for a moment, then did the logical thing. He went over and threw F!Y/N into a tree.

"OI! You again!?" Shouted M!Y/N, tying to hide the demon blood staining his lips. F!Y/N struggled to get up again. M!Y/N narrowed his (e/c) eyes, but he froze when Genya spoke.
