【Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ５】

POV first person F!Y/N

I opened my eyes to find myself on the floor. Then I realized my brother and Tanjiro were on either side of me. M!Y/N was gagged, while me and Tanjiro were not.

"Where are we?! Nezuko?!" Shouted Tanjiro. He looked around wildly for his sister as a kakushi shoved his head to the ground.

"You are in the precence of the hashiras! Do not speak unless spoken to!" A female kakushi cried. I lifted my head up, and realized that Rui was no where to be seen. I tried to call out, but I found I couldn't speak.

"You are the L/N's, right? The unusual ones. The girl looks allright but the boys look the oposite of flamboyant!" Cried a male. He was tall, holy crap. And a dude with blind eyes was even taller. Holy shi-

"You must be allergic to some flower, right?" Said Shinobu. I nodded.

"You had a reaction that damaged your vocal cords. You will probably not be able to speak again until it repairs itself."

I looked horrified at her, then pointed to a wisteria tree. Most of the pillars looked shocked to know that the one thing demons hated, I could not touch it.

"That is unfourunate" Said a lively blonde.

After the presentation - Sanemi

"So, these are the idiots who have demons in tow?" Said a rough voice. I turned, and there stood a scary looking guy coverd in thick scars all over. He was holding Nezuko's box in one hand and Rui's bundle in the other. I got to my knees, as my hands were tied in front of me, unlike Tanjiro.

"Rui!" I shouted.

"Nezuko!" Tanjiro yelled at the same time. The guy only smiled twistedly.

"They are demons? Right? Well, how 'bout we kill them?!" He cackled. He dropped Rui, and I heard him grunt in pain. They guy now took out his sword.

"Sanemi, stop it."Said Shinobu. Sanemi rolled his eyes.

"Why? These are man-eating demons, they deserve to die." And with that, he stabbed the box. I heard Nezuko's whine of pain, and I knew tanjiro heard it too. Sanemi didn't stop smiling as he stabbed her again. He then dropped the box and placed his foot on the door, trapping Nezuko.

"And the Lowermoon, even easier, right? All I have to do is-" He got cut off by Rengoku.

"Sanemi, stop. Okayata-sama is arriving soon" He said smiling.

"Really? All I have to do is..." And with that, he scliced through the ribbon holding the haori toghether, and in a few seconds, Rui would be exposed to full sunlight. I charged over and threw myself over Rui, rolling into a ball over him. Sanemi scliced my back, maybe not accidentaly.

"Rui. Do. Not. Move" I whispered. Tanjiro was suddenly in front of Sanemi, and headbutted him so hard that he fell and his nose bled. While Tanjiro had Sanemi occupied, I re-wrapped Rui in the haori and held him against my chest. I heard his breathing return to normal as he healed his injuries.

"Okayata-sama has arrived" Said a pair of voices. I turned my head, unwilling to move yet. But Sanemi slammed it down on the gravel, so hard it made me bleed.

You watched as the twins supported him as he walked towards the patio. "Good morning, everyone. The weather is amazingly good today. I wonder if the sky is blue. It pleases me that we've made it to our semiannual Hashira meeting with no personnel changes." The male exclaimed as he looked around. 'Is he.... sick? So that man is Oyakata-sama?' I thought as the taste of blood invaded my mouth. Then I realized that M!Y/N was uncountoius.

"I am pleased to see you in good health, as well, Oyakata-sama. I fervently pray for your continued good fortune." Sanemi said. "Thank you, Sanemi." Oyakata-sama replied.

"If I may, Oyakata-sama.... Before we start the Hashira Meeting, would you mind enlightening us about these swordsmen, F!Y/N
L/N and Tanjiro Kamado, accompanied by demons?" Shinazugawa exclaimed. He then pointed to M!Y/N.

"And that one. I have recieved reliable proof that he can eat demons, and recieve some of the power of the demon he ate" The love hashira gasped at this information.

"Right... I apologize for startling you all. About F!Y/N, Tanjiro, M!Y/N and Nezuko..... I've sanctioned their situation. And I'd also like you all to accept it." Oyakata-sama stated as all of the pillars looked at him in shock and surprise.

"Even if that's what you desire, Oyakata-sama, I cannot agree to it." Himejima said. "I'm flamboyantly opposed, as well! A Demon Slayer traveling with a demon is unacceptable!" The Sound Pillar exclaimed, flamboyantly. I rolled my eyes. That man breathed flamoyance.

"I shall do whatever it is you wish, Oyakata-sama!" Mitsuri said. "I'm fine either way....since I'm going to forget anyway." said the Mist Pillar. Shinobu and Tomioka stayed silent.

"I don't trust them. I won't trust them. In the first place, I loathe demons." Obanai muttered. "Although I respect you with all my heart, that's an incomprehensible notion, Oyakata-sama! I oppose it with everything I've got!" Rengoku exclaimed.

 "The letter." Oyakata-sama told his daughter. "Yes." she replied as she took out a letter:

" 'Please allow Tanjiro to be accompanied by his sister, a demon. Because of her resilient mental strength, Nezuko has not lost her human emotions. Even in a starved state, she has never devoured humans, and this has held true more than two years later. Although the situation seems somewhat farfetched, it is an indisputable fact. In the event that Nezuko does assault a human, Tanjiro Kamado, as well as Sakonji Urokodaki and Giyuu Tomioka will atone by commiting seppuku.' " the girl read. 

My eyes widened as me and Tanjiro looked towards Tomioka who faced forward, not saying a word. "So, what if they commit seppuku? If you want to die, then rot to death for all I care! It's no guarantee! Not by a long shot!" Sanemi exclaimed. "Shinazugawa is right! If she kills and devours a human, there's no coming back from that! It won't bring back the people who were killed! Especially the Lower Moon, what if he is  spy sent by Kibutsuji!" Rengoku added.

"Rui has promised to never eat a human again! And as to keep him alive, he will drink my blood only!" I shouted. The hashiras turned to me.

"You do have a point." Oyakata-sama said. "We can't guarantee that they won't attack humans. That said....we also can't prove that they will attack humans. The fact is that Nezuko has refrained from devouring humans for more than two years and also that there are people risking their lives for her. To reject this notion, those who reject it must offer an even more convincing argument. Do you all have the will to do so?" Oyakata-sama exclaimed as Shinazugawa and Rengoku stood silent.

"As for Rui, all we can do is wait and observe to see if he will manage to keep this promise" Oyakata-sama continued. Sanemi snorted.

"Well, why don't we figure this out now?!" He snarled. To my horror, he sliced his arm, and dripped the blood through the holes he made in Nezuko's box.

"Come on, demon, you want some?!" He kicked the box.

"It's no use. She'd be out in broad daylight" Said Obanai. Sanemi stood up and grabbed the box. In a second, he was in the shade of the patio. He then returned and grabbed me by the sholders. I was next to him in a second, still holding Rui. Sanemi wresteld him out of my grasp.

"Why don't we see how much self-control these demons really have?"
